My memory tells me that Triang produced a 4 wheel diesel shunter, possibly in a starter set. I recall that it was a "steeple" cab type (but not the same as the steeple cab electric) and may have been in red or yellow. I have tried finding references to this but have found nothing. Does such a thing exist?

Too many people seem to have their lives changed because they cannot get kit a or part b.
They should think of the people who have their lives changed by illness, family issues, money problems etc.

To my mind, the gauge of the mesh looks far to heavy on some of these (e.g. the Busch one). I think the Woodland Scenics ones looks okay, so will probably go with that.

That and the Bristol Railways Archive (http://bristol-rail.co.uk/wiki/Main_Page) are two sites that I find really interesting even thought he actual areas are not of interest to me!

I want to send a small aerosol of paint to somebody in the UK from the UK. As far as Royal Mail are concerned this is a no-no. Does anybody know of another way?

You could make it a colliery layout - then you could name it: https://www.forestofdeanhistory.org.uk/resources/sites-in-the-forest/whimsey-colliery/

Similar, but I wondered if there was anything commercially produced. I also want gates which often have a tubular frame with rounded corners. This will not have the barbed wire along the top, and hence the top will be straight.

I an looking for a source of chain link fencing and gates which is the "old" type and not the modern security fencing. I have so far not been able to find anything. Does anybody make it?

Can anybody tell me if the Knightwing containerization's kits can be assembled so that the doors can be opened and closed, or if they have to have fixed position?

I remember recording this off the TV, and the tape (remember those?) then refusing to work. I never thought to look on YouTube.
Just recently bought the IRS "Rope and Chain Haulage" book, so this is quite timely.
