    SWMBO and little lady are away on holiday for two weeks I'm home alone apart from a few shifts at work I wonder what jobs can be done on the layout

      did one last week, unlit signal at shrewsbury, wait til you do ERTMS, 5 different forms to fill out depending on reason for passing a block marker! (all i'l say is i hope i never have to fill out a No2 form!)

      Why is it that people who want to be a train driver start moaning about the job after being in the seat for five minutes, try 37 years in the seat and then you can moan mate.

      I doubt that will change. railways in Europe worked together long before the EU existed.

    Taken off my booked job today and told to book on at 1400 instead and be on my way home by 1700 well that beats a 9hr 29mins job !!
