  1. Now that really does look good, it was good before though. B)
  2. I do this with great regularity when viewing Mick Simpson's Wansbeck Road... I borrowed a Deltic from the Scarborough club layout at Harrogate many years ago and replaced Fred's Sentinal railcar with it, he wasn't amused when it appeared...
  3. My love and I, we work well together / But often we're apart / Absence makes the heart lose weight, yeah.

  4. I'm sure you'll be able to move the brake push rod on to the next hole just like on the real thing...
  5. I've been enjoying this as well, the first time I heard it I thought Robert Plant and Alison Krauss had made another record together...
  6. Just sticking with the operators chat, mine's tea, milk, no sugar. Ta. Great videos Steve.
  7. Mike, very good photos. Don't forget most of the photos taken of the real thing in the forties were with very basic cameras, a lot more basic than the one you use...
  8. Chainsaw assessment passed easily, now I can legally cut my own leg off...

Stihl yourself for the assessment! :-)

  11. That little lot looks like a town it's self. Only been snowing on one street though...
  12. Probably even happier in a muddy puddle if I know Spaniels...
  13. Mmm, this soap is delicious... :scratchhead: You're making a nice job of this Michael.
  14. Pretty much all of our snow has gone now but I've been in York today learning how not to cut bits of me off with a chainsaw and they have a good 5" and it was freezing all the way there this morning, the coldest by the car's thermometer was -7C. 5C here when I got home about 5.30. The best car I've had for driving in the snow was a 1991 Vauxhall Cavalier SRi. OK, it was one of the rare 4x4 ones...
  15. Andy, you're about as bad as Boris , I should really report that...
  16. Bit more since the last one. Why have people walked up the road? there's no more snow on the pavement...
  17. Difficult to say how much has fallen here due to the high winds but the little drift outside the door is well over 12" high.
  18. has just had a Tunnocks Teacake and may have another...

  19. Well, it's got three windows, a bit that sticks out at the front and is about the right age...
  20. Well it's arrived, together with a lot of wind. Not much yet but it could carry on all night. Fryupdale, from Danby Beacon. And just outside home about 15 min ago.
  21. Thought I would dig this one out (pun very much intended!) just in case anyone has much snow. We're forecast quite a bit this afternoon so I'll be ready with my camera.
