Stihl yourself for the assessment! :-)

  5. Probably even happier in a muddy puddle if I know Spaniels...
  6. Mmm, this soap is delicious... :scratchhead: You're making a nice job of this Michael.
  7. Pretty much all of our snow has gone now but I've been in York today learning how not to cut bits of me off with a chainsaw and they have a good 5" and it was freezing all the way there this morning, the coldest by the car's thermometer was -7C. 5C here when I got home about 5.30. The best car I've had for driving in the snow was a 1991 Vauxhall Cavalier SRi. OK, it was one of the rare 4x4 ones...
  8. Andy, you're about as bad as Boris , I should really report that...
  9. Bit more since the last one. Why have people walked up the road? there's no more snow on the pavement...
  10. Difficult to say how much has fallen here due to the high winds but the little drift outside the door is well over 12" high.
  11. has just had a Tunnocks Teacake and may have another...

  12. Well, it's got three windows, a bit that sticks out at the front and is about the right age...
  13. Well it's arrived, together with a lot of wind. Not much yet but it could carry on all night. Fryupdale, from Danby Beacon. And just outside home about 15 min ago.
  14. Thought I would dig this one out (pun very much intended!) just in case anyone has much snow. We're forecast quite a bit this afternoon so I'll be ready with my camera.

  18. Looking good Ian, should have some great atmosphere when it's finished. I've always liked Clecklewyke when I've seen it at shows. As for your attachments problem, this - [attachment =150934:P1020354.JPG should be closed with a ] . probably got deleted somehow, I've done it myself!
  19. Cup of tea, Tunnocks Caramel Wafer and working on the layout - does a Wednesday morning get better than this?

  20. New van for layout transportation - whoopeee!

    1. Boris

      Boris

Do you need any instruction on how to drive it? I'm good with vans I am.

  21. I'd go for a 60/1 Loadhauler with the biggest motor you can get in perhaps vertically into the firebox, there should be plenty of room. Frame spacers would need to be fitted with this in mind.
  22. They were ugly brutes! Should make up into a nice model though.
  23. Skeletons from the closet: The best of Greatful Dead. 1974 first greatest hits album. Imelda May - Love Tattoo.
  24. Really must get to Nottingham again this year especially if Porchullin is going to be there. Shame I'm going to miss the 20's day at Glasgow. Edit, love the 26 approaching the bridge.
  25. Doesn't look any better from the back Dave... Nice model though.
