      I like jam.

  4. Looking good Ian, should have some great atmosphere when it's finished. I've always liked Clecklewyke when I've seen it at shows. As for your attachments problem, this - [attachment =150934:P1020354.JPG should be closed with a ] . probably got deleted somehow, I've done it myself!
  5. Cup of tea, Tunnocks Caramel Wafer and working on the layout - does a Wednesday morning get better than this?

  6. New van for layout transportation - whoopeee!

Do you need any instruction on how to drive it? I'm good with vans I am.

  7. I'd go for a 60/1 Loadhauler with the biggest motor you can get in perhaps vertically into the firebox, there should be plenty of room. Frame spacers would need to be fitted with this in mind.
  8. They were ugly brutes! Should make up into a nice model though.
  9. Skeletons from the closet: The best of Greatful Dead. 1974 first greatest hits album. Imelda May - Love Tattoo.
  10. Really must get to Nottingham again this year especially if Porchullin is going to be there. Shame I'm going to miss the 20's day at Glasgow. Edit, love the 26 approaching the bridge.
  11. Doesn't look any better from the back Dave... Nice model though.
  12. Very nice Rob, very neat soldering and those chains really look the part.
  13. Yeah, there could be 10 pies in a package that size. BUT, if it was pies, would it have lasted long enough to be photographed unopened?
  14. Lovely stuff Arthur, great to see another north east layout. Looking at the G5 and clerestorys and then looking up at my shelf and thinking 'nearly there'. D17 looks OK, mine will probably be in that livery...
  15. This one was one that went into Darlington works and was sent back to CREWE with Darlington style numbering - on the tank side...
  16. Got a little distracted this last day or so... Standard Bachmann 3F, renumbered to sort of represent this one. http://upload.wikime...%2C_1928%29.jpg. No numbers on the smokebox yet, the ones on the transfer sheet are wonky. Weathered with powders and given a blast of Humbrol matt varnish. And in full colour.
  17. Sean, they look like the D&S ones, the same as I used, I doubt very much that they will be available at the moment as I don't think they went to MSE with the signal parts. You could try writing to Danny Pinnock in the off chance that he might have some, don't bother Googleing.
  18. I asked a 'Manufacturer' about garden wall bond once and the curt reply I got was that railway buildings weren't built that way...
  19. A North Eastern Southern division one from me. Built many years ago when I was nowt but a lad, built from plasticard, D&S locking room windows and Wills interior. It's a bit battered now but I still quite like it. The layout it was built for never happened and since then I've only built Northern and Central division layouts. I'm quite happy looking at it on the shelf though. Is that Signalman Nicholson on the steps?
  20. D17 chassis on the rolling road and running well.

  21. Due to a (very good) works night out at the Moon & Sixpence last night, less than 4 hours sleep followed by a full day at work - I'm shattered...

  22. Still so far to go - The best of Chris Rea. Do not awaken love - Alice Watts (EP) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kOfOgq2jMg&feature=feedfbc
  23. For a loader I would go for the Fordson/Chaseside from Langley although mention of the Weatherill loader has reminded me of when I had the 'pleasure' of driving one of these http://www.kilkennymotorclub.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/w1.jpg quite regularly, it would be a lot bigger than the coal yard type, it had a 180hp Leyland engine and the only realistic brakes were to throw it into reverse or drop the bucket.
