Unlike Hornby they are probably not millions in debt ?? As to the 8F, Hornby are going to lose even more trying to sell 20 year old "updated" version at new model premium prices. Will dealers even stock them ? The same thinking the same old tat Wagons and Coaches they still churn out , no idea what the Hornby reasoning is behind them. Again do they actually sell ? At least they have finally doing a new re run of the excellent Trout Ballast Wagon from a few years ago. However Scottish Area markings and £30 a time, sorry not viable for me at least, a wait for secondhand ones on ebay in due course .

I would try the Plastic sheet option as thin as possible. Paper will absorb paint, may wrinkle, shrink etc. Cheers.

Do they come with pre grouping Decals?? otherwise they are not a lot of good to me without any being available. Fox Transfers do a LNER version of a different BK Diagram. I used Gibson universal rods on my J24 Falcon Brass version. I quickly decided I did not like them at all. Much easier and far quicker to mix two sets of Gibson Rods etches to get the correct two lengths needed. I found it far too easy to get the exact lengths wrong on the Universal etched version, then try to correct. Is there any reason why you appear to added a "bar/strip " 2/3rds up on from the bottom of the side of the D20 Tender. LNER G.S Tenders had a additional thin cover on the whole of the Coal plate area, no more than 0.5mm or less thick in all the models I have ever seen. The D20 version looks no different in photos to the normal G.S version?.

A2 being painted. Current A2 chassis running in with a High Level Gearbox and Motor. Some photos of my previous DJH A2 build City Of Durham from 2008 . Chassis on this is a Comet Box and Mashima Motor. DJH designed the kit as a split chassis hence the wiring on the City of Durham's chassis, DJH supplied Live and Insulated Drivers in both kits. I decided on the City of Hull Hull chassis, to just add pick ups to the Insulated side of the Drivers and a wire direct to the live chassis much quicker and works just as well.
