  3. I am definitely going to say that's magnificent. There, I just did. Lovely stuff John and can't wait to see the new stock, Alastair
  4. At first I thought the same, but if you magnify the photo, and look at the cab sheet, you can indeed see what looks very like lining to this blind horse..... Alastair
  5. 90323 cannot be a ROD. They only ever had 4 digit numbers on the WR (3020 TO 3099 with gaps and exchanges of numbers as temporary locos were withdrawn and scrapped) and none WR engines were numbered in the range 636xx to 63901. 90328 sounds like another WD to me - see above. Alastair M
  6. A couple of crackers Gilbert. Alastair
  7. Hornby do the O1, which would need brake pumps and gear adding. Alastair M

  13. I only asked about Thomas because just at the point at which Tom split the two threads, Thomas was looking very promising....... Regards, Alastair
  14. Great stuff Tom, so good to see this part of the island's railways back. How's Thomas coming along? Alastair
  15. That is a most excellent set of coaches John. Anyone with either volume of the GWR in the thirties would recognise that as being true to prototype. Ace. best wishes, Alastair

  17. Looking excellent John. Alastair
  18. does Kyle of Lochalsh qualify? If so, I am voting for it a lot. Alastair
  19. I used to see blue Reading bound 4 CORs barreling through Richmond coming home from school in the late '60 and early '70s. They were hugely impressive, not least because of the racket they made on the curve through the station. I can remember one or two green with OYE and lots of blue, also with OYE. Regards, Alastair
