  1. I did a little more work on the CCTs this afternoon. 4 running vans now.

  2. I did some modelling today and throughly enjoyed working in P4 again. I haven't undertaken any serious P4 modelling for several years.

  3. 17 children remain this afternoon out of 29 in my class and this has been replicated across our two-form entry school. Most are off following the government advice. So, when do the mass closures start!?

We have had no official word from Ofsted! Some rumours, but nothing firm!

I've been told this morning should I be in as I'm asthmatic! lol

Re work, yeah the amount I've been sending home has steadily increased of late! At least I don't have to mark it though! Light at the end of the tunnel!

Ourobus - the NHS staff are simply amazing and the crap you put up with simply isn't fair. I really can't thank you all enough. Stay safe and keep well. Kind regards.

Cheers guys.  The local priest came to bless our place of work yesterday.  That brought some mixed emotions.  Given the circumstances, some felt it more like we were being read the last rites and got very upset.  But we carry on and with God's blessings, we'll come out the other side.  Each week that goes by is one week closer to getting on top of it.

I heard the phrase something like "There is and end to this..." this morning. I believe it is the title of a book about very tough events to be dealt with and the author was talking on Radio 2 to Kate Botley and Jason Mohammed at about 8 this morning. She was lovely and calm and measured. Quite inspirational. Stay safe you all.

Currently building a batch (some SR built and some BR) and wanted to have a bit of variation! Cheers.

  13. Yesterday, I bought some guttering and down pipe parts from ModelU, which look rather nice. This was the cheapest order placed this weekend! I think the modelling mojo has returned. :)

I had it three weeks ago and it was really like a bad/very bad cold although I was tired at times and lost my appetite to some extent, plus few occasional headaches.  Senses of smell and taste were unaffected.. If it goes like that the worst should be over in no more than a week or so and hopefully you won't get the continuous nausea which hit me as everything else improved.

There's a saying, 'life's a bitch and then you die'.

Craap timing for you, Nick, I really do sympathise. I could always drop that 'small amount of reading material' round on your doorstep in a day or so?
