Finally someone that agrees with me. The Kings did suit their blue livery. Still waiting for an Experimental “purple” as well. Given it’s the 75th anniversary of the formation of BR, surely we will see some experimental liveries this year. I just pray it’s not an Apple Green Castle

Maybe that comes from company history as well? Bachmann UK only came around in 1989. Hornby had just recently celebrated 100 years, obviously in a few variations over those years, so that could be part of it.

Why are they a transfer? It’s a silver block. Hardly a difficult thing to apply via tampo printing. Slippery slope Hornby is on it seems.

Really hoping for a brand new GWR Saint or County this year. 111 would be nice. I’d assume further variations of the 9F will come too, Tyne Dock hopefully to haul my Consett rake I have sat waiting. A brand new Royal Train with correct doors on the principals Mk3 coaches would be fantastic. That could lead to a new Mk2 announcement for the Couchettes too.

I think that’s an optical illusion. The cantrail strip seems to curve downwards along the windscreen on the LNER one. The Pullman one it curves up along the windscreen.

Yeah as far as I am aware, the latest version Britannia’s are the same as the first all new R2562 super detailed version. Maybe they will gain a 21 pin socket at some point.

Yes the sliding door versions have moulded roof handrails and the slam door have separately fitted. At least, the Jubilee sliding door versions have moulded roof handrails
