  1. Kemilway have loaded up 14 new LNER etched brass coach kits to their web site in the last day or so. There are 52” and 61”6” types in both 4mm and 7mm scale The list contains some very interesting diagram numbers. No connection other than a satisfied customer of high quality very well designed coach etches. SteveT
  2. Still not had my copy of 260, guess I need to give them a ring!!
  3. I believe Modellers World made 1 or 2 diffferent diagram number 12 wheel LNWR bogie coaches. If anyone has these Kits in their stocks but will possibly never get around to building them, I would be very interested to agree a purchase price for them for a new project I am embarking on. Please respond by pm with price you are looking for. Cheers, Steve
  4. Does anybody have a current price list for the NER/LNER wagon kits they could post on here or e-mail to me please. SteveT
  5. Back in post 21388 on this thread, there is mention of a Louth Quad set produced by David Eastern. As I would like to get hold of a set of these (presumably etches) I have tried contacting the original poster without success. Does anyone have contact details for this source (David Eastern) they could let me have please, in the hope of being able to purchase this coach component set. Response by PM. Thanks, SteveT.
  6. Dont forget the quite large range of RDEB etched kits available form Andrew Hartshorne of Wizard Models for ECJS, GNR and LNER coaches
  7. Bill, any news on timescale for the NBR Corpse van ? Thanks, SteveT
  8. Rupert created the Cad for the 1924 Triplet set, the 1928 set that is also available fron CPL Products, the 1938 set that Dan Pinnock sold prior to the range moving to wizard and the BR 1957 rebuild of the 1938 set for the Northumbrian. Andrew at Wizard is most helpful and over the years has introduced many of the extensive range of LNER/GNR/ECJS etches from the large list of RDEB designs, when I have enquired about their availability.
  9. If they were brought in by air you would see a significant price increase to that advertised, so sea it is.
  10. If anyone is interested in the earlier 1928 Flying Scotsman Triplet Dining Set in 4mm, the etches are available from CPL Products (Paul Bambrick). Bought a set recently and they are excellent and checking against the Isinglass drawings are very accurate. Also regarding Wizard/RDEB, Rupert at RDEB has drawn and has etches for the 1937 East Anglian set, coach diagrams D236 to D240 under development. These ran behind the two Streamlined B17's. Now that really would make a nice train.
  11. I bought one of the 52F kits for the A5/1 last week, comes with both style cab sides, 4 chimneys, 2 domes and 2 smokebox wrappers and the correct shorrter frames. The quality of the components and etches are excellent especially the castings for detailing the backhead. Peter's designs are top quality and very well thought out, he has NBR G9 0.4.4T's and D30's coming through design for future models, I would recomend any of his kits. No connection other than a very satisfied customer. SteveT
  12. Terry, The Proses rolling road is still available, they are distributed by Bachmann in the UK so they should be available from any of their retailers either from stock or to order. I have used one extensively and it is in my opinion the best rolling road on the market both for modern image loco's and steam loco's of all wheel types. Hope this helps.
  13. I've had two deliveries off Dan this year, one being in the last few weeks. I have another order in with him that is due in the next few weeks, Dan will not cash cheques until he has all the order ready to despatch and if it is for multiple items with etches arriving at different times, the shipment won't leave until the kits are all ready. Rest assured that Dan will get your order out to you as soon as complete SteveT
  14. Proses do a rolling road and the rollers can also be used on standard 4mm track so very versatile. Can be purchased from any Bachmann retailer as they are the imporer of the product, check the Bachmann web site for images.
  15. Pity Hornby aren't as helpful, tried buying spares from them and they didn't want to know.
  16. Wanted - Coach gangway (corridor connector) end door for recent model Hornby Pullman coach, also require dynamo for same coach and 'Devon Belle Waterloo Ifracombe' roof boards.
  17. I appreciate that Ultrascale loco wheels are typically on a 6 to 8 month lead time, does this also apply to the carriage and wagon wheels or are they available on a faster turn-around? Thanks,
  18. I would also buy one of the original LSWR T14 sets of loco etches along with the 8 wheel tender, the unrebuilt version that had the valve gear coming out of the front of the splashers above the footplate into the flared in smoke box/valve chest covers.
  19. Don't suppose anyone visiting this show got hold of a Dave Alexander price list, assuminng one is available from him. If so is there any chance it could be scanned and sent to me or even posted on here. Failing this dose anyone have a phone number or e-mail address so I can contact the proprieter for purchase information. Thanks, SteveT
  20. As the title says, if anyone has an unbuilt D&S DS116(E) GER 6 wheel Lav. 3rd coach kit they would be prepared to sell, please send me a PM with the price expected. Thanks, SteveT
  21. What happened to the 4mm wagon kits that were due for production early last year?
  22. Brian and his Shawplan business are still trading, spoke to him yesterday.
  23. Same here, very pleased with the quality of this publication so much information I have been looking for over many years. And yes it was a nice touch having my name in the subscribers listing, most unexpected. No excuses now for not completing the numerous wagon kits collected over the years.
  24. Or even a Class 8A/Q4 in hiding.
  25. Spoke to John Redrup on Saturday at S4 North, seems there is likely to be another batch of LNWR 'Bill Bailey' loco kits. I would suggest anyone interested in one of these models should contact John pretty quick.
