  2. PDK do advertise 2002 in its range as PDK63 along with 2001 as PDK64 all on page 5 of their price list presumably indicating they are in production, they also show PDK66 for the Bugatti Nose versions as a future model.
  3. Did Bramblewick eventually find a new owner and if so can anyone shed light as to whether it will ever be exhibited again?
  4. I notice that this DCC systen is now available form Gaugemaster, has anyone on RM Web purchased a system yet and can provide feedback on its performance/usability?
  5. If you look at the first post on this thread (and the third post), clearly he couldn't !
  6. Richard, I also listened to the sales advice on this system and like you asked for detail as to what wireless controllers (Phones/Tablets etc) were compatible and the associated iOS, Windows or Android sotware. All I could get was that it worked with the Marklin wired controller that was being demonstrated on the stand. Surely the advantage of this system is that it has in-built Wifi capability and as such it should have been made obvious what wireless controllers could be used with the command centre? Dutch-Master, I had checked on the web site already and could find no answer to the specific question that was raised in my original post. The web site page on the command centre is a technical write up of the device but as far as I can see there is no reference to specific controllers compatible with the command centre?
  7. Does anyone have any experience of using the Digikeijs DCC sytem, I saw this on the DCC Train Automation stand at the Doncaster exhibition today. Unfortunately there was no english literature on the product but it did look interesting. The system is very competatively priced and seemed to be multi protocol capable. I would like to know what wireless controllers are compatible with the system? Thanks,
  8. Brassmasters are also re-introducing the R&E GCR Rolling Stock kits
  9. Other new kits in the last couple of years from - North Eastern Kits 52F Models Agenoria and I am sure there are a couple more.
  10. Another vote here for Glengoyne, one of the best malt whiskeys ever and I have tried a hell of a lot of them, closely followed by Glenturret. Both distilleries offer excellent tours as well.
  11. Looking for a company to make prints from glass plate negatives

Unlikely, you either need to make a rig using a flatbed scanner (google) or contact your local photography club to see about contact prints.

Or maybe try your local college for evening courses and learn to do contact prints yourself, but wear old clothes if you do as that developer stains anything it can!

See if you can get them digitised - you can get infinite prints off them and put them on the web if you want to then

  13. Do we have any clearer information as to when the Piko Smart Control DCC system will hit the market? I understand it is available as a part of a train pack but not as the DCC system alone. Thanlks,
  14. After almost 3 months of trying to get a date for the safety mod to my Hotpoint tumble dryer, I am no closer. 4 phone calls to different departments this morning with no joy. What incredibly poor customer service. Help!

I rung, they delivered a replacement which is not quite the same model......called them as I needed to register it to be told......ohhhh that's one of the ones we need to replace......you couldn't make it up!

  15. Brisca F1 Stock Car racing takes some beating for action. 15 to 20 cars per race each with 7 litre plus engines trying to bash the hell out of each other. Its on a small (typically Speedway track) oval so you can see all of the action. I have regularly seen cars on their roof's in multiple pile ups, cars with axles ripped out only to re-appear in further heats later in the meeting. You can get in the pits at most tracks and stand next to the cars to get a real sense of the power of these cars. And a dam sight less cost to watch than F1 BTCC or some of the other types of car racing SteveT
  16. WCML closed north of Carlisle until February, government needs to find the funding to complete the reinstatement of the Waverley route in its entirety!

Possible change of travel plans for Glasgow Ex if not fixed intime.....

      Should be ok by then.

Much less funding and easier to properly upgrade and double the G&SW route from Carlisle.

  17. Ransomes and Raleigh, that's a new one on me, they probably make pretty good bicycles as well or is that Rapier's?
  18. Don't quite see the relevance of comparing Slaters wheels to Romfords when one brand is for 7mm and one for 4mm?
  19. Dean Sidings are in the process of closing down so be quick if you still require an L3. There was also a whitemetal kit for an L3 by Kingdom Kits, an example of which resides in my strategic reserve.
  20. This is a duplicate thread, there is already a thread running started by Mike Storey on the 11th August.
  21. The D194/195 (Whitby Twins) are also available as a partial etched kit from Wizard Models under the RDEB brand, a little more expensive than the BB ones but you do get etched ends and an etched chassis as well as battery boxes.
  22. So who's going to be first to post 'Where's my MRJ 243, it's late again'?
