  1. Looking great Dicky, love the atmosphere!
  2. I like the DMU fleet. Are the 150s resprays?
  3. Andi, Glad you’ve been assessed again and there is a plan to get you to where you want to be. I’m on Sertraline, but a low dose, fortunately that haven’t affected me, well, not that I’ve noticed. All the best Karl
  4. Class 158 (Ex Northern Spirit), about to enter the paint shop to gain its Northern Spot livery. I have been working on my DMU fleet over the last couple of weeks, my Northern liveried Class 150 & 153 have had a light weathering, whilst my ex First NorthWestern 150 is being transformed into 150120 in an ex-GWR livery with magenta doors.
  5. I thought this was the real thing. Fabulous detailing!
  6. Sorry for going off topic a bit. We’re getting close to 100 sites being targeted by arsonists across the 4 major networks, along with mindless idiots confronting engineers providing vital comms for the emergency services and those working from home. We had the same with 2G, 3G & 4G, but there is so much more social media these days to spread the word. Karl
  7. Dicky, this is a fantastic atmospheric layout, I don’t know why I haven’t seen it before on here. Great work Karl
  8. Today i’ll Be mainly painting. Cuprinol Red Cedar on the fencing and shed. can’t wait!!

  12. Thanks Martin, how is Ruby road coming along? Karl
  13. Cheers Neil, I’ve not secured the mast as I know it will get knocked if left erected. learning from a previous layout when my yard lamps were always getting bumped Karl
  14. Neil A few lead pellets should the trick and finish it off perfectly Regards Karl
  15. Neil, as Ian says the load is a little skewed, but really like your flask Regards, Karl
  16. Thanks Steve I do find modelling therapeutic, as much as I do just sitting by a mainline watching trains thunder by. I hope to get some more done over the next few days interspersed with getting into the garden for some sunshine. Karl
  17. A bit of ballasting, addition of my GSM-r cab and it’s starting to come together. I’ll finish of the bus station next before starting on the rail part of the interchange . cheers for now Karl
  18. Fantastic detailing on here Neil looks superb!
  19. Cheers for the advice, the radiator is turned to minimum as it’s my office as well. Can’t do with being too warm.
  20. Cracking model of a GSM-R installation, great detailing and judging from some of Martin’s photos, it’s been accurately portrayed. https://3dprintingcorner.co.uk/product/176-gsm-r-mast/ Karl
  21. I’ve had a couple of weeks off work due to stress & depression, so as a bit of therapy I was instructed by my good lady wife to spend some time on my layout. Things are starting to come together and begin to look what I had envisaged. Below is the car park under the interchange, it’ll be fully loaded with vehicles eventually. And the bus station and the footbridge across to the rail station with the sort of traction that will be running. LNER HSTs, Northern DMUs, Trans Pennine express (awaiting the Mk5s) and a GBRf 66 (66756 - Royal Corps of Signals), my old corps that I spent 18 years serving in. Regards Karl
