Hi Ray, the building looks good mate, I will have to have a go at Building Building one day, you, George, Al, (agc-mr), Lee, (Freebs) and Jason, (Sandside) are all putting me to shame.
Andy
Pics are good Mike, its interesting to see how different people fix wiring, George T likes to solder all his to Tags near the point Motor, where as I have always used Terminal Blocks.
Likewise some people fix the wires with cable ties, I have always used Cable Clips Hot Glued under the base board.
On Glen Roy I used some spare white plastic cable trunking as it was an Exhibition Layout and I didn't want to catch the wires getting it in and out of the car etc.
So pic, yes pleases Mike.
Andy
BTW, do I connect the Red to the Green or the Black? or is it Green to Black and onto the Red for pretty colours and a daisy chain?
Shaun, I was going to hit you with a great big DISAGREE on that score mate, its looking really good and its probably the fact that your seeing it close up and every day that stops you appreciating the workmanship you have achieved.
Andy
Hi Cav, the runs in the door shuts really show up well, but I'm surprised that the hinge and door handle rust streaks you were doing don't show up more.
Andy
Morning Mike, despite you only being DC (Dis Conected) I have popped by for some much needed therapy but alas there is nothing new so I've had to go back and look at previous pics of your woodwork and track laying :locomotive: :locomotive: .
Its just as wonderful today as it was last time I looked so still inspired and raring to go.
Andy
I for one am looking forward to this issue, can't think why,
Oh yes I remember my Glen Roy's in it
and also our Clubs Wychnor on Trent O Gauge Layout.
Cheers guys,
Andy
Morning Shaun, I just had a look in that section and will pop by again to keep and eye on its progress.
I just love the colouring of that Mill, its really coming on well.
All the best,
Andy
Looks very nice Peter, Bertie seems quite at home playing Trains / Guard Dog, does he have a good GROWL when kids touch the Layout? hahha
Re the Magnets, I have used the Kadee between the tracks Magnets that can be fitted after the track is laid as on Glen Roy, and looks a bit like a barrow crossing, and I have also got some large O Gauge ones, about 2 inches x 1.5 inches that can go under the ballast and sleepers and is really powerful.
Hope that helps mate.
All the best to you all.
Andy
Hi Ray, I did watch this the other days, so Thanks but I forgot to post to say I liked it so here I am now.
Great :locomotive: :locomotive:
Cheers,
Andy
