And you worked for BR.....?????

(BTW, if you do a flickr search of 47601, be ready for pictures that are NSFW)

I knew 'sumthing' different on 601.....Sanders instead of 10psi bogie brake anti slip button....

Please make allowance as I'm special!

Are those renders or painted samples Alex? Either way, they look superb!

Thanks too for the plug for Showcase. As I understand it, there should be some interesting items from Cavalex for display at the show.

Morning Guy,

It is a render, the decorated samples should hopefully be with us over the next few months.

We are really looking forward to Showcase.

Has there been any further info released on the sound options for the 56s?

Morning Ian,

Further information on the sound options will hopefully be released over the next couple of months.

We will of course keep everyone updated as and when we have updates.

DEMU SHOWCASE 2022

Two more Cavalex Class 56 samples have arrived this week from ESU in time for DEMU Showcase next weekend. Romanian and Doncaster built examples (33-55) will be available to view on our stand all weekend - so if you’re attending please come and see them in the flesh!

Are these the strategic army transport reserves transport that are stored in a secret tunnel in Corsham? 🤣

If your not careful gbrf will use livery on the next 69!

56 look really good...

Based on the pre production samples this really is going to take standards to the next level, cannot wait to get my hands on mine.  The cantrail grills in particular are stunning

That loco actually had a sound chip in but it was a generic German diesel as we don't have the correct files to test yet.

Yes we are chuffed to bits with how those grilles came out, amazing what can be achieved when you encourage the factory to push their processes.

OK, it's basically the same as the video above, but I'm experimenting with the 'phone and didn't think anyone would mind a second look at this loco in action. We're going to have to carry out an @AY Modstyle brick haulage test with this one when it appears for review. This little train of hoppers wasn't taxing it at all!

@RBE @Grimleygrid - be very afraid; the gauntlet has been thrown down.

It'll be interesting to see what it's capacity is for sure, however as long as it pulls what the prototype would in OO then we'll still be good I think! 😀
