    What does the panel think of using swede (that'll be neep to viewers up top, but who cares as they're rutabagas anyway) in a veg curry?

     

    The Mrs has gone off to meet her daughter in Malta for 10 days and left loads of veg that isn't pies, sausages, white bread or chips and I'm bu99ered if I know what to do with it!

      Swede should be chopped into small cubes (less than 10mm), then boiled for about 15-20 mins until soft-ish, then immediately thrown in the bin.

       

      The most tasteless, cardboard-like veg I've ever had the misfortune to come across.

       

      Did Mrs D leave you a phone ? The best solution is Take-away.

    I should be checking out of Hotel Treliske next Tuesday after 6 weeks of care by the NHS. Can't wait to get back to my home bed, but will miss the wonderful staff for whom I will be eternally grateful

    A serious breakfast incident was recorded at Kernow Towers this morning, when a quantity of almond milk was discovered in the Captain's porridge.

     

    An investigation is now underway.

    I love testing data - NOT

     

    So my colleague has written a new data extract and not only are there hundreds of thousands of records but also a ridiculous number of columns that all sound very similar.

     

    It's a great dataset, a development of an earlier one and before it gets unleashed I am testing it on some known extracts to check the results are the same.  Found an issue, very subtle, so subtle I didn't notice at first and thought perhaps it was a naming convention issue in a report.

     

    Anyway got to the bottom of it after searching through a lot of code and a few columns have been misaligned in a derived table.

     

    It reminded me of Andre Previn on Morecambe and Wise and Eric says "I'm playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order"  In my case "I've got the right data, but not necessarily in the right order"  :lol:
