Can you identify these locations?

It looks like its coupled to an 03 or 04 which looks BR rather than industrial

Looking further through the disc, I have found these pics which may help.

In the first pic there is a panel with Holbeck Leeds painted on it.

Today's #3 is, I think, at Kingmoor. Here's a picture of 46201 in what looks like the same place, captioned as Kingmoor - http://www.railuk.info/gallery/notes/getimage.php?id=2614 .

#1 and #2 are interesting. They're either at Kingmoor or Upperby, but which? I think the pictures show 46200 in front of 90763 on a deadline. Here's a picture of them in a deadline together, captioned Upperby, 15 June 1963. - https://www.flickr.com/photos/24041160@N02/3811173515. (I believe this is Upperby, I don't remember houses like those in the background near Kingmoor). However, I have a printed leaflet which lists 46200, 90763, most of the other locos in that picture (plus 46201) as being in store at Kingmoor at the end of March 1963. But, going by the track arrangement in pictures #1 and #2, plus the Flickr one captioned Upperby (one empty track in front of the one the engines are on, another track joining, apparently just behind the WD), I would say #1 and #2 are taken at Upperby.

From my own notes, 46200 and most of the Crabs in that Flickr photo were still at Upperby on 7 September 1963. However - 90763 was stored at Kingmoor on that date! Assuming the information about it being at Kingmoor in March is correct, and it is shown in that picture at Upperby in June, why had a withdrawn engine been moved back to Kingmoor by September?

#1 and #2 Definitely at the back of Upperby shed near the 'Burma Road'. I have a photo of them there dated 1st September 1963. 46200 was moved from Kingmoor to Upperby on 9 June 1963. It was them moved from the sidings to beside the stores shed in November 1963.

#3 46200 is at Kingmoor. Again I have an identical photo of it there (the railuk link above points to the photo)

Howie, that is interesting. Seeing the picture of 90763 at Upperby made me go back to check my notes from 7 September 1963. I wondered if I'd got it wrong, and I had actually seen 90763 at Upperby. But 90763 is among numbers I took at Kingmoor.

It's no big thing (and apologies for hijacking the topic), but would you know why 90763 might have been moved back to Kingmoor, apparently between 1 September and 7 September?

Re: 90763, until this morning while perusing the allocation history of this loco I was unaware that it had spent a year at Bidston (6F) between Aug 59 and Jul 60.

I believe 90763 was trialled on iron ore workings from Bidston Dock. (I have a part built DJH kit that was destined to become 90763.....)

Cheers,

Mick

A bit late with this reply I know, but I've just come home from a weeks break in one of my favourite holiday haunts - Puerto de Mogan, and seen these great pics - most definitely OOC. The crew of Denbigh Castle (7032) would occasionally give enthusiasts footplate rides in the shed yard during quiet periods on some Saturdays, 6028 languished in the scrap line well into 1964.

Pretty much the complete set of Peak headcode variants too.

From left to right - twin centre boxes, single 4-digit box, split boxes (no central door), split boxes (with door).

Only one missing are the Class 44 discs, though they seldom (if ever?) ventured to Holbeck.
