So many of the posts on this thread make it such a difficult read.  There's too much unique and personal stuff that would be better directed towards Accurscale support on their website.  Please give Fran and the guys a break, as basic support isn't their role and these posts run the risk that we will stop getting the kind of AS presence we've become used to.

Joking aside, I really like the fact that Accurascale raise an order in such cases. I have had returns with other manufacturers where you don’t know what is happening until you get a knock on the door, sometime a long time after the return.

I had that problem with my AS decoder and it was because it wasn’t pushed home properly. It’s a tight fit between the rows of jumper plugs and it should fit snugly in between them, not sitting at an angle.

Had my decoder back and all is now working (flange squeal) and I don't have the issue with the desk lights.

 

Anyone know how to relock the chip to these settings if I were to need to CV8 in the future?

Thanks for this. Great when the parts all come together. Hopefully will get 602  and 609 from retailer before 'not too long'. Then:

Perfect: I have both 602 and 609 due from retailers soon, I have the flask wagons, and I model mostly Southern Region!

Yes my 37043 squeaks too. I've not looked into the cause but it does seem to be one squeak per wheel rotation.

Mine sounded like the bearings either side of the worm gear were dry, so I'm in the middle of cleaning them up and re-lubricaring them to see if that'll do it.

I have my pre-order with them and haven’t even been charged the second payment yet, I would have thought an email would have been sent or guidance?

 

 

In terms of 608, my order of 602, 608 & 609 hasn’t been dispatched, I’m assuming that 608 is holding them back.
