RMweb Gold Graham_Muz Posted April 22, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 22, 2023 Like many others my car is also loaded, not with a layout for a change but the core supplies for the refreshments / up selling / arm twisting / "would you like cake with that" opportunities for tomorrow. See you tomorrow folks, remember it's cash only in exchange for refreshing drinks and tasty delights, and all monies raised go to the events charity.

RMweb Gold Phil Bullock Posted April 22, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 22, 2023 (edited) I broached the subject of cake with the boss .. she didn’t believe me that a model railway meeting was really a clandestine cover for a cake fest and any way today is her day for doing her hobbies. I did then point out that baking is a hobby… If I am lacking any appendages tomorrow you will know what happened! Rob R
Trowland packed and ready to go. Just hoping we can get there in time to nab a parking space. Don't fancy lugging it halfway across Somerset in the wet...... 5

RMweb Gold mudmagnet Posted April 22, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 22, 2023 Been busy 3D printing some more stock items and a load of chimney pots for Mr Spams! No car loading until the morning, just a few plastic boxes to load into the car. I will bring my laptop so can go through some 3D CAD modelling for those interested. 4 1

Weather forecast seems to have changed and is looking dry, certainly for our arrival. Only concern is that with a few of us Welsh attended, the weather gods might get confused and deliver more suitable weather to make us feel at home. See you on the morrow. Rob.
