Overall impression - very nice indeed 😉

Who's going to buy an entire fleet of them I wonder...?

My money's on @Phil Bullock - his bank account must have recovered from a full set of Bachmann Class 43 Warships by now...................?! 🤭

Noooooooooooooooooo!!!! I’d be surprised if even 1 sneaks in!!!! Cash lined up for 25s 31s and 37s…. Although our Western fleet does keep growing …. But nowhere near that full fleet yet.

Oil sloshers rule!!! Although we do have to run some other stuff occasionally….

My next loco purchase from our friends at Accurascale will be 57xx ….

Will this have an operational fan as well as the Class 31?

Can this be switched on/off via dip switch settings on the DC only versions?

Al.

Hi Al,

Yes, the 50 has an operational fan, just like our forthcoming Class 31.

It will be able to be switched on or off via the dip switches on DC.

Cheers!

Was it just me who saw a bit of Accurascale Class 50 gossip on Facebook yesterday? Or did I really just imagine it 😲

The internet is a big place, no ones yet reached the end of it and returned to tell the tale.

So for now helping fellow travellers with links is the only way to navigate it.

Just an observation which may or may not be correct. On the decorated samples photos from Rails Of Sheffield's website and looking back at the previous photos on this forum, are the orange cab front jumper connectors a little too large or prominent? I understand that these are pre-production samples but thought I'd see if anyone agreed.

Here's a new one, nicked from Facebook but 50023 "HOWE" at Oxford Carriage Sidings on ECS, to form the (1F71) 17.00 to Paddington Service on 14/2/89.  Note the black windscreen surround over the white.

They look black on that pic.

But on my photo in Jan 89, they look blue ?

That could be blue sky reflecting off the black windscreen surrounds.

Maybe.

i cant recall from 35 years ago.

but it certainly looks a different colour from the roof colour.

I can’t recall either but perhaps the window surrounds were executive dark grey? Definitely not blue.

Who would like to see an Accurascale Hoover in revised NSE livery?

Most definitely!

I'm sure it will be announced in due course, but it's actually very kind of Accurascale not to announce all the different liveries I want all at once - I couldn't afford it!

Patience is a virtue (yes, even in this "I want it now" world we seem to inhabit these days!)

Revised livery style or also revised darker blue too?

Either

Surprised one isn't in the first batch (unless a late arriving special). In the market for one in the paler shade...

Will the red and gold pseudo LMS Coronation livery ever be made? It might be like the purple deltic, some people hate it but enough people love it to sell out easily. Would make a great exclusive.

Totally agree. Would love a model of that livery.
