An excellent show as ever, great selection of layouts and traders.

Good to see some familiar, and not so familiar, faces and trade insults and repartee.

My only complaint, the timing of the last bus to the station, which set off without so much as a check on stragglers as I was within 20 yards of it, coincidentally just as Colin was announcing it's imminent departure and the closure of the show with his two minute warning. I would have (of😁) thought 5/10 minutes past closing time was a more sensible departure time, although I fully realise it's a voluntary service and they want to get home asap.

Mike.

I told them to make a quick getaway Mike and warned them you were enroute.

Do you have some sort of agreement with exhibitions to have a cold chill blowing past anyone watching Moors View?

It's the next big thing, didn't you know? We've got DCC lighting and DCC sound, and now we're moving on to DCC weather!

Thanks to all concerned for a good show, quite making up for my missing both Warley last year and Ally Pally owing to industrial unrest.  For me it was a pilgrimage to see 'Newhaven Harbour', but I ended being bewitched by 'City Basin Goods' with some 'mindful shunting'.  Thank you to the owner for 'chewing the fat' with me and others.

Beautiful weather, the free 'bus was much appreciated (and a decider for my attending, like Gaydon).  Good hall layout (logical arrangement and much space), good grub, and friendly helpful demonstrators.  Stayed 5.5 hours, and still could not give deserved attention to all the layouts.  Thanks finally to the 'Scouts'(?) who appeared to be doing much good work scurrying 'behind the scenes', and on exit formed a 'parade of honour', smiling and hoping we had all enjoyed our day.  A credit to their 'pack'.  See you in 2024, and hope you make a profit.  Your hard work is much appreciated.

As usual a great show, lovely layouts as expected, when you first walk in it doesn’t seem that big with everything spaced out, then you realise how far back it goes and there’s also the other room off to the side!

Nice to see a few fellow RMWebbers @Andy Y (sorry for the moan!) @Nick G @wagonbasher @wombatofludham probably more running layouts but I didn’t introduce myself

came away with a couple of locos and a used display cabinet from picture pride

I swear whenever I get close to it I feel like I am actually out in a wintery moor wearing a t-shirt.

We’ve recently been considering getting some low level fans to blow cold air up your trouser legs Marilyn Monroe style…

Hopefully the keyboard issue has now been sorted.

It was good to have the chance to meet several RMweb members and have a bit of a chat. Also managed to part with some cash!

A big 👍 from me to everyone involved.

A show with great quality, a good feel and so many visitors had nothing but praise. I only managed to flit around less than half of the layouts so apologies to any I missed. Eventually I got to Tackeroo with  @wagonbasher and had some token sessions on the controller in between gassing.

I hung up the work hat and just enjoyed a good play. Back to old days and I loved it. The layout came into its own talking to local folk and those who read about the project on here about the locations and features which was really enjoyable. I was hoarse by the time I got back.

Back home in North Wales after another fantastic show. The fourth time I have exhibited in Stafford and probably my favourite show of the year. To many familiar faces to mention but did anyone notice the 'celebrity' visitor? I had a selfie with him in front of my layout, if your into cars you may recognise him.  It was Workshop Phil from the TV programme Car SOS.

5 hours of pure pleasure. Last year was good, so we had planned this weekend to suit my visit, and it was even better this year. I spent quite a lot of money, because good stuff was on sale - and specialist DCC stuff is not always available in France - and saw some splendid layouts.

As others have said, the spacious layout of the hall gives everyone a chance to browse or watch with little let or hindrance. The layout list was beyond extensive, yet not a poor one in sight. Traders were numerous and very varied.

I also touched base with a number of respected RMwebbers, which is always good. As someone  who has lived abroad for almost 20 years, I was made to feel at home.

A very fine day, thankyou Stafford!

Stafford - What a disapointment

Take it up with show management, your (removed) post just seems to be full of bile.

You have to wonder how anyone could say anything bad about the show, felt only second to Warley for the number of exhibits and given there was a big old scaleforum going on down south they still turned out an excellent mix of layouts and scales.  Decent stash of traders, kits, DCC and RTR plus secondhand as well.

The roads to the site were a breeze, parking was well managed, there were several buses on the circuit to the station and absolutely no queueing to get in and I arrived at 10:30 on the Saturday.

Good wishes to all who have enjoyed Bewdley down the years.  Had its final curtain call this weekend at Stafford.  What a great show to finish on.

We will be back some time in the future with some new layouts as and when the exhibition managers work their way through their post covid log jam of layout invitations. (Alisdair)

Attended the show yesterday as a club exhibitor, overall a good show, put on by the Stafford team, there looks like there are accounts of it been poorly attended, but the large isles diluted the crowds, if I have a observation, its the smaller exhibits and often the gems, of the show, are lost in the vastness of the thing.
