BR 16t Minerals, By Accurascale

Ah - at last.

Now we need the ultimate bits of Accurascale detail -

Wagons with a different number from the other on one side,  (or even one with different cast plates on the two sides of the underframe), and

Getting all those rubber 'spring'  parts on the buffer tail rod behind the headstock.

(By far the best way to remove a buffer head when it was in the way during rerailing as all you had to do was get the pin out of the end of the road and pull.   Dowty and other self-contained buffers were a nuisance as you had to get the securing nuts/bolts burnt off with a gas torch.

PS will you be doing them in packs of five?  That would be a very helpful idea.

Ah - remember the days in late 70's when to model a 16t mineral wagon was only possible by donating an organ for a long out-of -production Airfix kit .................................................

I have a big pile of them, all converted to VB and no top flap. BUT still on plastic wheels!

I built up a stockpile - 50 of 'em from shops (various) so all at retail prices.   So 'Mint in Box' including some in the Airfix brown paper bulk packs.   Must be worth a bomb - well they were yesterday

Admirably thin tyres on those wheels.

Will the production run models with welded end doors have bottom box section corrected? Also going off the light bleed on the pressed end door version, will these wagons have interior detailing?

Good to see the rebodied version being covered.

Hello @Porcy Mane I did explain in the video that the box section ends were missing from the EPs, so there'll be a photo update shortly, and the completed EPs will be those in the cabinets at the Autumn shows.
