For those that missed out on the R3483 cranked Sentinel at £42. :locomotive:

Here's another at £43.99 post free. Still a good deal IMO.

Brexit ?

Wash your mouth out - the thread will get locked and then we'll have to pay RRP for everything...

:O

Kernow seem to have some very decent prices on Exclusive First Editions in their "Bargains" section eg:

http://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/p/55580/29627-Exclusive-First-Editions-Leyland-Olympian-Type-B-Devon

Edit: Some EFE bargains are better than others though...

It's worth noting that the website says prices exclude VAT and carriage.

These deals are a in store promotion only and for all the years that I have been going to these sales the price on the web is the price I have paid. Last Saturday I had a Hornby 423 4VEP unit for £59.99

Newcastle/North East folk. Sutherlands in Byker are auctioning off the stock from another poor model shop that must have bit the dust. I have an idea which shop this is but I'm not certain. Very sad in any case.

However someone might be able to grab a bargain from the wreckage?

Here's the link. Sale ends friday 3rd.

Hawkins bazaar, in shrewsbury at least, has 50% off Hornby. Gresley suburbans in maroon at £20, variuos mk3 and mk2es at £12

Also gwr shunters wagon £5 and sets of three bauxite 7planks at £12 - at 4 quid a wagon cant be bad?!

Same deal in Cardiff, but (on Tuesday) the only rolling stock left was train sets and a few Hawkin's Bazaar branded open wagons (metal wheels though).

Hmmm - if shipped directly from Japan, does that mean VAT + handling fee is due on arrival?

Thanks Keith, I ordered the Suction Vice, with the free delivery option, yesterday morning and It arrived this morning. For £6 delivered the quality is not first class but it is better than I expected, the body and base is all metal (aluminium I think) with rubber jaws. Not really for 'proper' engineering but fine for my modelling needs.
