Quality 007 - Can this be seen on Bee Lane? - when is the next exhibition? - Cheers - Ian

Thanks Ian

Yes 007 can be seen on Bee Lane, and if my memory serves me right it's next outing will be at Preston's Exhibition this coming March.

Fabulous layout - definitely one of the best modern layouts around. Always enjoy watching it - probably the one I have stayed with the longest at any exhibition. I particularly like all the interest / scenes on the layout but it doesn't look too congested / over busy.

Keep up the good work!

Work has progressed on club nights over the last few weeks. Quite a few general maintenance/tidying jobs have been the priority.

Away from the club, new stock is also in preparation and a few items have already appeared elshwere on RMweb (57301/975025/66720)

Here's a quick pic of two more locos in current liveries.

Hopefully, they'll be finished (weathered and DCC sound fitted) by Stafford in a couple of weeks or so.

Cheers,

Mick

No, he drove a 205.

Cheers,

Mick

And a proper rally car the 205 was too in the day. Bit of a soft spot for the one nine gti's I have to admit. Good choice from Spike.

Nice to see some pics of Blackmill again mind.

Wow...Got to say, one of the best....

Great, absolutely FAB....

Love the Network rail Loco, HST's, Cl31 and Coaches, Tunnel Light wagon...

Love the DRS Class 37's on the Track cleaning...

Love all the diorama’s going on all over the layout, under the bridge looks excellent, Speed camera...etc

Keep up with the photo updates... :O

Do you have a track Plan... and sizes etc...? :scared:

Did you make the Tunneling Light wagon and track cleaner yourself....

Will this layout be attending any show, if so where & When :stinker:

Thanks!

See post#6 for trackplan. The whole layout is 48feet long including fiddle yards.

The Structure Gauging train is heavily modified r-t-r, with the optical car virtually a scratchbuild on bits of a Bachy VAA chassis - search the forum for Structure Gauging Train or SGT.

The rail cleaner is a scratchbuild by Rob Barton - I'm sure he'll add his comments soon.

Next exhibitions are Stafford 4/5 Feb, Derby in May, Railex NE in August.

Cheers,

Mick

Over the last few weeks, we've been carrying out basic maintenance to the layout in readiness for a trip to Derby in May.

http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/51444-derby-2012-exhibition-12-13-may-moorways-sports-centre/

In the next few days, we'll prioritise the tasks for the layout and I'll be trying to do same with my workbench stock projects - of which there are way too many!

We've already planned a recce via Peak Forest on the way down and will probably take in the RTC and Toton whilst we're there!

Cheers,

Mick
