EBay madness

£2500 for an HO gauge kit - that's a bit steep - maybe the price includes all the fuel!

It doesn't look like the Ratio refuelling station though - I think is is the scrap yard scene kit - it doesn't state if it comes in its original box though so I might give it a miss

Not just ebay!

Could walk in to CMC and for what these would cost me I could walk out with 4 of the blighters and still have change for a pint!

I thought one had to have a minimum number of posts before being able to use classifieds.

Technically Phil, you could, but only one left !

Lots of people with a zero posts count selling in classifieds, despite the 30 post rule, but then the report function does not work in classifieds.

To be fair, recently released steam era Bachmann wagons are knocking around this price. Of course, you can get bogie bolsters much cheaper, but £15 a wagon is something we're all gonna have to get used to apparently :-( .

I think the answer to your question is No! :mosking:   I like the Very Rare at the end - these are pretty common IMHO.

A Hornby class 47 body on a Bachmann class 47 chassis!

You see that what happens if we don't keep strict controls on genetic engineering in today's society - all manner of dangerous mutations and permutations will be formed and will end up landing on our layouts and we won't be able to stop them.

Now where is that surplus 0-4-0 Pug chassis and that  limited edition Bachmann Deltic body that I purchased last year - I am going to build myself the world's first Pugtic

At least you will be 100% honest when you stick the Pugtic on eBay as 'Extremely Rare'!

I think it is a class 66 (or something similar) chassis - well out of my period........

I think the FGW ones seem to start at about £300, but then have you seen the price of the coaches?  It astonishes me that the manufacturers won't make the older version of the livery and say they can't make the new...

I think it's actually a Bachmann spectrum chassis which would make it a US loco with a class 47 body!

Possibly a dash 8 chassis?
