wombatofludham
"The weathering is generally ok......" http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OO-gauge-WEATHERED-Hornby-R2349-Class-50-Ark-Royal-BR-Blue-LARGE-LOGO-and-DCC-/321474838305?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item4ad964bf21 I like the comment "The weathering is generally ok, the previous owner went for the full on dirty look! But there are some areas that could be improved on, where the paint appears a bit 'splatty.'" No F****n' sh**. Actually, no, it's F****n' sh**. As for Cartmel and Grafar coaches, he will keep referring to them as "rare" and asking £40, £50 or £60+ each despite there being identical boxed examples for sale at under £10. I once bought four Grafar LMS non-corridors which someone had expertly repainted in fully lined pre 1934 livery, detailed with new roof vents and new wheels, which really made them top notch and very convincing, for less than he's asking for one coach. He really is away with the fairies.

Fartmel again! £150 for one of those old Farish coaches! A fiver would be too much IMHO. The kits were particularly poor - a nasty tinplate roof and the stiffest running bogies of all time. RMweb Premium melmerby Posted July 30, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 30, 2014 It's prob just a placeholder whilst out of stock & price will change when back instock It looks as if £900 or so is added as there are about a dozen items in one category showing with similar, but not identical, prices. Maybe it's caused by a glitch in the software which operates their electronic stock system when items are OOS? Keith
