??? probably a Typo but some other items seem overpriced.

Probably a left over from yet another free listing weekend - quite a few bods seem to post a lot with a view to updating/adding pics later and never do. If they take that little care over their listings (you can after all view your current lisings in control panel) then I never buy from them.

My wife used to collect TT but she never had anything like this. Can't believe there's a bid at £49.99 - it's not the Triang DMU but something modified, and then painted by David Blunkett Associates.

If I wanted one I'd be bidding at around that price. Would probably end up at around £300+ maybe more.

As I posted before "Possibly a tad dear, but the etched kit would have to cost £120+ to start with. I've been quoted £300+ for the professional building of something similar."..also add the wheels etc.

Did Kitmaster produce TT scale coaches?. This same guy is selling "Triang TT compatible" coaches and a Royal Scot.

That railcar looks to be bashed from the Triang coaches. And Yes, Kitmaster did do their coaches in TT, much better than the Triang ones, and Kitmaster also did the Royal Scot.

Keith

The Kitmaster Mk1's were the correct length, unlike the Triang shortie Mk1's.

How I wish I'd kept my 10 Pullmans and 6 boxed blue/grey Mk1's............................ (Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I did find a couple of VERY rare TT transcontinental items in my stash a couple of years ago - thanks Ebay!)

Cheers,

Mick

Current £53 for a small yard crane , bonkers

There appears to be a market for D & S kits. Perhaps it's time to market them again or have the moulds etc. been lost ?

That reminds me! It's about time I completed the kits I've got stashed away!

Surely an award for effort in selling a £5 BIN item? Look at the supporting text - page down, and down, and down!

Pah! That's a shortie. Look at this one he's got:

There, that's a bit more accurate.

True - but I am still inclined to ascribe poor English to the poor education system not just the individual. I have heard too many stories of teachers whose English was more than slightly imperfect. Who allowed them to teach others?
