Buy It Now for 75 quid or make offer.

err would £17.99 + p/p be a good offer? Kernow still have them in stock, as I suspect do other retailers since they didn't shift at all well.

Refreshingly honest description of what I can only describe as the model railway equivilent of Frankensteins monster...

Tell that to the non professional heating engineer the next time he comes to fix the boiler when you are freezing your butt off in the middle of winter

Heating technician. I doubt that the chap who mends your boiler, no matter how skilled of experienced, is a qualified professional engineer. I think this is the difference Andy was referring to - indeed a very common misconception! Someone who has spent many years training to be a doctor, dentist, lawyer or architect is somehow given more prominence in British society than an engineer who has done the equivalent, a source of much frustration for we engineers!

Anyway, back to ebay!

Hornby Dublo terminal station normally fetches around £200.

This one is sitting at £31 and appears very badly smashed up.

It could be a very good "bashing" excercise into something more prototypical. I've just been looking at them and although the origins are obviously "toy" with some embossed brick plasticard, and other materials, and a decent paint job...? Who knows.

Whilst rmweb was down you all missed a chance to bid on this Lima Class 40 which was weathered to a very high standard:
