Just what I was going to say.

Do I see traces of 'Thomas' blue on the wheels? She appears to have suffered a heavy shunt (or fell off the baseboard onto the floor.

I have binned (rather than BINned) better stuff........

The advert says this is in 'excellent boxed condition' - in that case I'm just popping up to Specsavers as there is clearly something wrong with my eyesight! :scratchhead:

One assumes "boxed" here does not refer to the packaging, rather to its experiences in a pugilistic environment.

The seller is actually the manufacturer. They have other items on auction. I suppose it provides a chance of getting an item cheaper than list price if bidding doesn't take off while they make more if it does.

That's why I couldn't understand anyone bidding above the manufacturer's price. :)

You're not wrong there matey! Another clueless chancer in the 'junk dealer' category.

Its been re listed and has an offer option.

I just offered him a tenner for it. :sarcastic:

I don't believe it.

From me offering him £10 He's now given me a counter offer of £550!!!

Dream on.

Its not even worth a response.

You could "rub it in" a bit and offer £1.00.... ;)

(They may mis-read it as £100.00? )

A lovely item (I can see my two road Aifix/Dapol shed being written off...... ).

In fairness to the seller, the item did start at £1 and a link to the manufacturer was provided. If one wants to pay over the odds, who am I to get in the way?  :O

And likely to remain so at that price!   (You could probably acquire a real one for less.)

It's just as well really this vandalism is bad enough on the real thing, without replicating (and encouraging ) it in miniature  (IMHO).

Same seller who in an earlier post on this thread was asking £600 for a Bachmann V2. Still is - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bachmann-BRANCH-LINE-OO-GAUGE-LOCOMOTIVE-MODEL-LNER-TENDER-LOCO-V2-2-6-2-/272184245921?hash=item3f5f71fea1:g:QOcAAOSwuAVW00ws

That intelligently described "coal carriage" realy gives the game away as to the type of seller.
