reference the 'banana art'

Quote

Comedian is sold with a certificate of authenticity and owners can replace the banana as needed, the Miami Herald reported.

A few years down the road, it will not be original, the tape will have lost it's sticky, and it'll be the umpteenth banana. Good piss take, though, but too arty to win the turnip prize in the Wedmore pub...

Tacky it may be, but it is done for a very good and (unfortunately) necessary cause:

Both CN & CP have similar trains that traverse Canada and parts of the US (my video link was Indiana).

IMHO they are quite well done and as you say for worthy causes.

BNSF runs a (less ostentatious) special in aid of Veterans.

Looks far better than our attempt. Which looks like a tender kit gone wrong in this picture.

But it worked, when deployed correctly in light seas, and allowed the tank to go straight into action which the schwimmpanzer rather failed at due to the cumbersome attachments ;)

This is the Schwimmpanzer.

its probably the weirdest looking amphibious modification I’ve ever seen. Certainly makes me smile when I see it

It's just what Hitler needed in 1940, fortunately he had none!
