Saves getting stuck in the traffic jam looking for places to park!

Quote from a mother "I drive my children to school because it's safer with all the traffic."

The very same traffic she and all the other mum's taxis are causing.☹️

Bearing in mind that the Portable Appliance Tester to test the Portable Appliance Tester that needs a Portable Appliance Test will previously have had a Portable Appliance Test as well.

With enough of them, we could build our own Large Hadron Collider....

My workplace uses a PAT device and it is sent away to a instrument calibration firm once a year to verify they work properly and measure accurately enough.

An Everton fan was on an overseas outing and decided to get a tattoo while a tad affected by a couple of drinks.  He asked for a piece of paper to write down what he wanted inscribed.  I don't know what he actually wrote but he ended up with "EVER ONION" tattoed across his chest.

I used to do the calibration/testing at my last workplace.

I worked at an electrical instrument calibration company.

Lad I know was in the Army and was out somewhere it the Far East where they decided to get their regimental badge as tattoos.

He was in the seat a bit worse for wear and the tattooist kept asking him questions such as where are they from, football team, name, etc.

It was only when he looked, that when asked "name" and he told it, the tattooist had tattooed COLIN on his arm!

Thats an "Early PM" Boris, before the strains of nearly 3 years of herding cats took its toll on his hair and face.

Mind you, its instructive to look at photos of PMs before and after office, they all deteriorate in the same way!
