RMweb Gold tomparryharry Posted March 12, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 12, 2020 Ladies & Gents, if I may.... I haven't posted any photos, because all of my stuff is boxed up. If you want some photos of containers, I'll get some done this afternoon. However.... Please keep posting your 'stuff'. Why? I hear you ask. Some of this so-called 'stuff' on the forum provides me with a great deal of enthusiasm, and also, pointers. Each & every picture, in my humble opinion, paints a thousand words (and quite a few million pixels as well). So, keep it going, and sod slightly disregard the naysayers. Above all, have fun! I will finish my shed, honest.... 4 4

Popular Post Erixtar1992
Can we stop with the moaning and just get on with posting cool photos of our models? This is one of my fave threads on here, modelling is a compromise. Nothings usually perfect so just enjoy the content. cheers Edited March 12, 2020 by Erixtar1992 24 3

Battledown
I love looking at and admiring other people's models and there has been a lot to admire on this thread. For what it is worth, here is a LSWR M7 Motortank and 0415 Radial Tank, both built from Martin Finney kits, and a Black Hawthorn built from a High Level kit, all in P4. It can be a bit deflating when close up photos show all those blemishes and where things don't quite fit, so a bit more work is required before painting. Then the real challenge is to reproduce the Drummond livery to an acceptable standard on the LSWR locos - maybe something a bit simpler for the Black Hawthorn! 16

To my mind let down by the overbright cool cast LED headlights, and if that's double track running line it’s running wrong road. Garage photo 9 years back. Headshunt under the bridge. No PECO Bullhead then image pre iPhone standard Fuji cam. 60 sold. Layout binned.

Sorry I am a bit late to comment here after a busy week and no time to drop in, but it would be a shame if you were to just stick to Seven Mils Sidings. Your posts are far better than anything I have personally posted here and I enjoy your regular posts. Full of character in my opinion. Hopefully you won't be too off put, people who don't like your modelling can always easily ignore it and scroll onto the next picture and there is nothing wrong with that, everyone has their own taste. It'd be a sad world if we were all identical robots and you'll never please everybody, but you did used to please me for one. All the best, Dave 2 7

All the best, Dave Thanks David, a few of us have been put off by the comments made, and as a consequence have stopped posting pictures on this thread. I may be back, but at the moment I know if I post a pic it may not get the response that it used to. I don't do it for likes, but as a way to try and improve my photography as well as my models, scenics, and backscenes. In the meantime, and possibly until after my move, I'll more than likely stick to Seven Mills Sidings. Thanks again for your support and post, once again, it's much appreciated. 2 3

After all, how many people would know what a hopper is for? Nice one. 6

DavidMcKenzie
Looks great (both the modelling and the photo editing). My first impression was that the top picture looks like the prototype and the bottom picture looks like a very accurate model of a real life scene. 2
