Anybody interested in a ride in a helicopter? We need one person to accompany us.

We leave early next Sunday morning from City of Derry airport and will fly over Derry and Donegal ,

then fly to and have lunch at Ballyliffin golf club.

Then we’ll do a flight along the whole of the Inishowen coast, Up the Banks of the Foyle etc ,

then fly back to City of Derry Airport.

If interested, please message!

Preferably someone with a helicopter otherwise we can't go.

Derry Helicopters (flying to and from Derry airport) sounds like it got its business model from Yorkshire Airlines.

These jokes about Uranus really are the bottom.

As a child I loved the stories by Hugh Walters.

Voyage To Venus,

Mission to Mars.

Journey to Jupiter.

Nearly Neptune

Passage to Pluto

But he never did a story based around Uranus. It's strange. I would have thought the title was obvious: Up Uranus.

NB: He really did write a lot of chidren's S/F and his novels are now available on Kindle. Highly recommended.

William Shatner has discontinued his new line of lingerie.

Apparently, Shatner panties wasn’t the best choice for a name.

Neither was he the best choice of model for the lingerie.

Nor could he sing too well.

I think that comment was still about Captain Kirk. 😉

To be fair to the godlike genius that is William Shatner, he doesn't actually attempt to sing; he knows his limits, thus recites the lyrics in time with the music. He's clearly a pioneer of rap music, and a man way ahead of his time.

But he was just following the lead provided by Rex Harrison.

He was from Huyton of all places!

Obviously before it became a place to put people after the post war slum clearances. I believe it was quite a posh area back in the day.

Not the way that I remember Harrison in MY FAIR LADY  (the Broadway play, not the movie).
