Enjoyed shuttling engines up and down Troutons whilst Richard made steady progress in getting the hoist mechanism to function

Yes Steve it was good where we were with the sound of 66's drifting though from the club room and the sounds of the real thing coming in via the back door.

After a long time in storage Troutons is now back up in its full form ready for additional detailing to be added for the autumn shows of Halifax and Warley. Being able to use upstairs in the club rooms is an extra bonus as allows all the layout to be erected. Down side being it was not really designed for moving up and down stairs! Many thanks to the Earlsheaton crew for agreeing to putting their layout into storage for the next 8 weeks.

In preparation for the Halifax and Warley Shows list of jobs man has been produced - re timing of the signals, replacing dodgy wiring by depot entrance etc. One area for improvement is in and around the depot with additional detailing to take place.

Decided to produce a small cameo of a van delivering supplies by adapting an Oxford Classics transit to side uploading

Spurred on by winning a cup at Halifax and England knocked out of the rugby cup, Chris buoyed up, or possibly depressed by having to watch Wakefield Wilcats for another year in the SuperLeague we need to up the level of detail in certain areas, one definitely being around the depot area.

So in between the Australian no 10 racking up a record number of points at Fortress Tickenham sliding door on white van making delivery fettled out of empty tomato paste tube, various piles of pallets and pallet loads made.

There is an empty spot up the bridges just crying out to be a dump for old track work, sleepers after point work renewal and after finally repainting the signage so the paint stays on the white metal castings running lines should also benefit from some more detailing.

Still looking for an effective way of making litter that does not get into the running gear of the engines - any proven ideas please post as Troutons still looks like it's just been visited by the clean police
