I still dislike the expression 'bookazine'.

If you have to do that kind on inane thing, I'd prefer 'magook'.

Horrocksford.

Lovely to see 'Mutton' again, Rob, your broken tarmac surfaces are superb, is there a quick 'executive summary' * somewhere on how you did those, please?

* See - I've still got it as regards work-related corporate-speak!

Evening CK.

I quite like 'comook'. ( railway mags are always referred to as comics here)

By way of an executive summary, I would front load the following;

Basic ground level on Mutton was achieved using mounting board, differing from Sheep Lane which used DAS as per Bleat. The mounting board was then given a layer of PVA to which was then applied finely sieved ash from a barbecue. This was then weathered here and there with powders. The surface was distressed here and there with ones finger. Some of this removeed the top layer leaving a hrole to which was added ballast or more ash to fill.

Thats about it really.

I understand that the Japanese use the term "mook".

With regard to corporate gobbledegook, every time I hear the phrase "flash report" the wrong image entirely floats into my head...

Morning all.

From an undisclosed vantage point, Norman Lockhart provides us with a view of the morning goods working dropping off a fruit van at Mutton.

Morning all.

Bleat Wharf is maintaining its molluscesque progress. Here is an aerial view of the current state of play. The buildings are in their final positions.

Whilst the clay was drying, they were lightly pushed into the surface in an attempt to bed them in and avoid the dreaded gap between the building and the ground. It seems to have worked okay with any areas that need more work being sanded accordingly.

This morning Norman managed to capture Sheep Lane stalwart worrying a wagon or two. The sky does not bode well but for now at least the dear old 3F is bathed in low Somerset sunlight.

Confucius say, 'Dark sky over Somerset means glut of sausages in Horrocksford'.

Lovely bit of weathering on the loco matey, but then I think we've come to expect it from you.

Still popping in to see this cracking little module develop.

Morning all..

Thank you Grahame. The Beattie is one of my favourites.

Here is another image.( I wiped the lens.....) Bleat is starting to come together now. Track is all 'infilled' and an overall coat of grey primer has been applied as a base.

Before I go on, I want to run Bleat for a bit, to make sure we have no snags.
