  1. Response from Locomotion Models We have investigated this problem with ‘Sagepay’ who have found that the error occurred due to the number of characters for the first name box exceeding the allowed number of characters. It would appear that Philip used his second name etc. in addition to Philip, which would have been sufficient to forward the payment. Stuart at Shildon has emailed Philip in an effort to resolve the situation to everyone’s satisfaction and to get the order moving forward. The lack of response was caused by staff sickness at Shildon for which I can only apologise. Dennis Lovett Exclusive Models Marketing Executive Locomotion.com
  2. If you have to ask the question and haven't thoroughly researched all aspects of it yourselves you're not ready to go anywhere near the concept.
  3. He didn't. He paid for banner adverts for a short period. Evidence? Cheated is a very explicit phrase.
  4. Which was why it was relocated. 'So please explain' does not come across as a polite request, more of a demand.
  5. I could just tell you where it was relocated to but your 'so please explain' comment seems to appear as though you think I am here at your personal service. If you had politely asked you may have more likely got an informative response.
  6. That's an individual magazine's call based on costs, margins and distribution methods. Their 'gifts' undoubtedly cost too but ours are externally sourced.
  7. Yes, don't know what caused that. I'm not sure if the user who posted a topic multiple times across different forums (all placed incorrectly) was a cause or effect.
  8. I have removed several speculative posts referencing content on a third party site pending clarification due to legal considerations.
  9. Sorry I missed this, it should be working OK. https://youtube.com/watch?v=d4pRrq4Aaho
  10. That may have been due to works on that route in the upper levels of the scene.
  11. It's post 1990 because of the state of One Canada Square.
  12. No; I looked at the usage levels and some really did not merit separate sub-forum areas with some being little more than an unpaid for advert (for a competing publication) than a worthwhile discussion topic. Don't forget who pays the bills here.
  13. EM Gauge Society ‘ready-to-lay’ trackwork from Peco – an update At the recent Warley National Model Railway exhibition, the EM Gauge Society had on display, 3D printed samples of their forthcoming release of ready to lay EM track being commissioned from Peco and it would be fair to say this announcement has caused a lot of positive interest. The new bullhead code 75 wooden sleepered track comprises plain ‘flexi-track’ plus matching left and right hand two-way B6 geometry ‘Electrofrog’ points. Plain track will be in 914mm lengths, with the sleeper base split into scale 60' panels and the spacing reduced on sleepers positioned at the ends of adjoining panels, as per prototype practice. The turnouts will feature solid metal blades and parallel sleepering (perpendicular to the straight route) – with sleeper length and spacing as per the prototype. The new bullhead plain track in EM (example of the finished product). View of the bullhead flexi-track to EM gauge. Right hand B6 turnout – 3D printed sample. N.B the tie bar arrangement as illustrated above is not the final version. Left hand B6 turnout – 3D printed sample. Detail view of RH B6 turnout common crossing (3D printed sample). Detail view of RH B6 turnout switch arrangement (3D printed sample). N.B the tie bar arrangement as shown is not the final version. The plain track should be available by December 2018 and will cost £5 per yard length, while the B6 turnouts are expected to be available by the spring of 2019 and will be priced at £27 each. Orders from EMGS members for collection at EMGS events can be taken now. The products will also be on sale to everyone attending expoEM Spring, expoEM Autumn and at other EMGS events at which the Sales Stand is in attendance. Further details about the EM Gauge Society, including membership benefits and how to join can be found on the website: www.emgs.org.
  14. Such comments do bug me. I think the fact that I couldn't get near the layout at any point on Saturday shows that you were entertaining folks and that there's plenty to see. I haven't seen many such comments from previous large shows so maybe it's just a Warley thing as those going around with their I-Spy books only give a layout a couple of minutes before moving on and that's not what such an impressive scene is about. Even if you've seen the layout before there are always new and really interesting developments to look out for.
  15. I wish.... (please complete the sentence with the most imaganitive use of long yellow things on newbryford)
  16. It's 6 weeks away so I can't bear it yet. I'll be having a word with Mutton chops.
  17. We'll find space for two for you. It's not like they're big!
