  3. After roaming around from the previous link there may be a crime here which we can help the police identify the suspect. http://www.youtube.com/user/DallasPoliceDept#p/u/1/JJKWiy_Wh_0

It's a well know principle called "Strategic Incompetence". I use it all the time!

Looking at one of the snaps taken during scanning I can see the point being made by looking at the edge of the yellow warning panel. Full yellow ends disguise the change but it can be seen by the perpendicular bottom of the front on the far corner in this shot. The original CAD from scanning looks to recognise this but it could be that the factory flattened the difference out in subsequent CADs.
  8. much prefers RMweb Blue.

I'm happy with the blue in the vanilla setting and find it marginally more relaxing than RMWeb blue

I think I get where you're coming from with that Dave. It looks like all of the drop should be ahead of the red line marked on the snap below. It's worth closer examination.

    Sky Protect?

You're quite correct Pete. It's Domestic & General and they state they're the only one officially endorsed by Sky. I wonder how all the other companies get your details though.
  11. Andy Y

    Sky Protect?

You'll be plagued forever by these. Sky sell on details of box owners to numerous warranty providers. Your recently provided box will be covered by a 12 month warranty with Sky anyway but such companies try and sell the additional benefits of accidental damage cover, dish etc. It's up to you if you think the extra amount is worth it but I wouldn't bother until it's out of manufacturers warranty at least Tom.
  12. Boris may be eligible for parole under a restraining order not to mention bodily functions, underpants, winding up the Mods and combinations thereof. This is of course subject to his acceptance of the above; breach of these parole terms will mean a long spell on the naughty step.

  14. Gentlemen, whilst topic diversions are acceptable it may be better to create a separate topic where the material is heading in a divergent direction. However a topic is not the domain of the OP to dictate what should and should not be in there and polite mutual development of content would be the way to go rather than being confrontational over the credentials of a fellow contributor. I see that Peter has clearly qualified the earlier statement with supporting evidence.

  16. Got your own back on us! That link isn't accessible to those of is the UK as it's part of their international service which isn't funded by the licence fee. Edit - Just been for a look behind a web proxy now - did they have a golden spike ceremony deep in Box Tunnel?

  18. No, the challenge ends this year. Feel free to make something for your own benefit outside the timeframe of the challenge though.
  19. ..or can't afford the hospital car park. You're right, there's a multitude of reasons and I wouldn't like to see the topic become clouded with anyone being too judgemental or assumptive about non-attendees. P.S. Can I claim against the consultant who did an op on me when I just thought I was going for a consultation. Too damned efficient and I couldn't walk straight for a fortnight.
  20. No; he gave a balanced perspective earlier on. Maybe the bit about an eye-test was right though.
  21. I am looking forward to it John; it's a bit of spectacle and something more interesting than the usual TV diet. So: Please don't propose to speak on behalf of everyone. I could beef on about absolutely pointless posts being a more depressing portrayal of how people would rather spend their time. Yes, I've been busy with the delete button again.
  22. has just done the rest of the Military Railway walk as discussed in the Disused Railways Group and pieced together more interesting stuff. Off to the County Records Office tomorrow.
