CTJ... Don't leave it too long.
I built a layout for grandson just before 3rd birthday.
At 8-y-o he joined the School's Model Club building Airfix planes, never given the railway second glance since!
I used to be into airfix models, I had quite a fleet. I did do railway modelling too as I enjoyed both aspects.

Absolutely fantastic! I have a 3 1/2 year old (also called George!) and this is giving me ideas for a few years time.
He currently has the Marklin 3+ years old train set and loves it.
Merry Christmas!

Absolutely superb! Those two last photos ooze the atmosphere of a peaceful country terminus. You can just hear the birds tweeting (not on twitter!) in the background.
I've been enjoying seeing the progress and making notes on your modelling tips. Keep the updates coming!

Hi Pete,
Not sure how I missed the video first time round but I've just watched it and that 37 sounds brilliant. I wasn't convinced on sound in 2mm but I think you might just have converted me with that!

Hi Pete,
I always enjoy reading your updates and this one is coming along nicely. Great idea on the platform and nice to see you have room for the run around now too without using the fiddle yard.
Looking forward to the next instalment!

Looks really good! I'm a big fan of NSE livery too and it will be prominent on my current layout build. Where did you get your transfers from?

Hi,
Locos look great. Shawplan do a large range of nameplates. Give Brian a call there and have a chat with him. He may well be able to help.

Stunning work! Well worth all the effort.

Superb work! Looking forward to seeing your completed rake.

NSE was cool! They really livened up the station exteriors and platforms with the splash of colour. Nowadays, our station platform colours just look boring and bland.

Wow! Superb modelling!

Hi,
Is there a link to you flickr photostream?

Hi,
Nice model boats. Reminds me of when we lived in Paris and used to get the train from Paris to the port, onto the ferry and then another train to Victoria. The French side always used to be more pleasant as the gas turbine turbo trains were like gliding on a comfortable sofa!
Good luck with the project! Look forward to seeing it develop.
Best regards,
Jeremy
