Superb!

Lovely set of photos Ian. I remember seeing this one in Railway Modeller and have got the copy of it somewhere at home. Fantastic layout!
Best regards,

Can someone please enlighten me what is so important about the 'Scotsman? Perhaps I cannot see it having lived in Swindon for 30 years!!
Its probably the most famous locomotive of all time.

It's a case of Trigger's broom, isn't it? (If you used to watch Only Fools & Horses).
I love that sketch!!!!

Lovely work Paul. You can't beat real coal in your tenders!
See you are still struggling to control the superglue once again! Nightmare stuff. I normally end up with several off cuts of plasticard glued to my hands!
Looking forward to seeing your finished tenders.

Hi Paul,
I agree, an extension to the layout would be good if you have the space.....which will mean you will need the draught Guiness tap installed very quickly to keep up the constant flow of refreshments while building the extension!
Good luck and all the best for 2016.
Best regards

Very nice. There were some detailed shots of Hatch station come up on Flickr just recently.

Very nice Ian. Looking forward to seeing it on the layout, and again, nice to see a step by step guide on how it all came together.

Very nice. Great idea on the jig. In the photos, it looks like you have rounded off the tops of the posts to make them look less square, was this just gently filed to shape or is there an alternative method?

Jeremy

Very nice and neat and nice to see a step by step of how you did it too.

Looks great Pete.

Hi Pete,
Looks great so far! I hadn't realised just how long it was and it will certainly be a cracking layout.
Good luck with the project
Best regards,

Nice plan Pete. I like the idea of running trains from one station to another. Looking forward to watching it develop.

Hi Jeremy - Many thanks - Shame you couldn't come last week - hope the little fellow is on the mend - BTW, Euston is taking shape nicely - fab track
Hi Pete,
He's fine now thanks. Think I've come down with it now though!!
Best regards,

Hi Pete,
Look forward to picking up a copy of Model Rail and can't wait to follow Thurso taking shape!

Really nice conversions. I was watching a video yesterday on youtube showing these rather smart liveried train sets heading out of Marylebone behind classes 67 and 68.

Hi Pete,
I'll try and get over to Uckfield next Sunday and say hello.
Best regards,
Jeremy

Can't wait to see this develop again!
-
Lovely photo Pete. I always enjoy reading the updates on your layouts.

Very nice effective weathering.

As for the green paint, I blame the Domestic Overlord because he chose it So as usual I'm innocent
Do you think the domestic overlord has his own secret GWR layout stashed away that only comes out when no ones looking??
-
Is it me or is everyone else seeing those elephants!!??!!
That green is a bit controversial...!
-
Wow, looks amazing and very effective!

Looks good Jeremy
As you say the colour variation maybe more prototypical so wouldn't be over concerned.
Two 4 Ceps? I did tell you they were addictive
Cheers Pete. The 4 CEP is IMO one of Farish's best models, the level of detail is excellent. Maybe they will consider other models in the future....4 CIG maybe!! Shame they didn't think of releasing a refurbished version in NSE. However there is a nice photo of an NSE version on the Mercig website, albeit unrefurbished but with the added headlight.
Best regards,
Jeremy
