  1. You will - its a great show (in a great city) - we always book a few nights in York over the Easter weekend and I often visit on two days ChrisH
  2. No doubt I'll catch up with Phil at York in April...I'm not in a rush.... Chris
  3. Nice work Stu Do you have a track plan or an overhead photo - its pretty clear from the photos you have put up but one overall picture would be great. I assume the runround you refer to ealrier is via the fiddle yard? May be I do have room for a layout for the blue NPCS stock I have stashed away... Thanks Chris
  4. I slightly off set the board end track protectors by about 3mm - using the same ply I inset into the cork - John. I don't have a photo but I'll sort one when I next have one of the layouts out. The layout still fits in the RUB with them in place. Chris

  6. Used them on a few layouts now - so far so good and a lot less faff than copper clad sleepers or brass screws. https://www.modeltech.uk/
  7. Board joint to shunting lead/fiddle stick..
  8. Track pre-wired with droppers and glued down.
  9. I'm now disposing of most of the remaining stock
  10. In the absence of the Classified section I hope this is OK - I'm just flagging up some surplus stock from Gare de Brindille which is for sale. 11. I really enjoyed seeing your layout again - top notch - along with Kamiack Falls it set a very high standard. Chris
  12. If there are any intellectual property issues we can always send the boys round.....Bill's a big lad...
  13. Has anyone weathered a 56019 ( I'm particularly interested in how the red buffers look!) Chris H
  14. I think we just need to remember they are a very small outfit dealing with what appears to be a very popular product. When it arrives it will be absolutely fine I'm sure. I'm just a previously satisfied customer FWIW. Chris H
  15. Thanks - in which I should be fine as I have Bachman and SLW locos that work well on the layout already - I was concerned that the nail modification may be necessary! Chris
  16. I'm yet to fit Kadees to my 56s - is the coupler pocket design going to make a coupling/uncoupling problematic if any curve is involved? Has anyone out there tried it? I won't get round to it for a day or to - I certainly plan to use my RF liveried 56 for a bit of shunting on Penmaenbach which has long Peco BH points. Chris
  17. It will need a different address but the manual tells you how to sort that. Not all 6 wire cables are falt btw - I have at least one coiled one so beware! and...
  18. This is from Roads and Rails...from their DCC sound installation I thought I was finished but all the lights came on together, I like them to be directional so that I can easily see which way the model is gonna move, so I looked at the PCB and noticed that there was a green wire bridging two components, which looked like a bit of an after thought, so i took it off, and it made the lights directional, but backwards! So I have reversed the light outputs in the function mapping and it works now, any decoders you buy from us will already have this change made. Chris
