  1. You must have very long arms to be able to get items on and off the shelves safely
  2. Yes but they have to use military appliances - Green Godesses as opposed to the shiny red thing used by Fireman Sam
  3. I can't see the unions putting up with that
  4. I understood all FIT payments were set by the Government
  5. I presume you've read this thread ...https://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/157958-york-station-in-the-1950s/#comments
  6. You wouldn't see the feather with a red light anyway
  7. "I still believe that the 66 and the 59 are being made in the same factory" What leads you to believe this?
  8. Might be better if you put this in the 'Wanted' section on the forum
  9. If you mean the flat bit which fits into 4 holes underneath then PM me your address and I'll post one out
  10. Sorry if I'm hijacking this thread but has anybody has a Solar IBoost fitted? And if so does it work? I've had one installed (!) free as part of a deal with my existing panels, but the installer obviously didn't know what he was doing as it's not connected to anything. It's just on the wall next to my consumer unit in the garage - nowhere near the hot water tank and the immersion heater. So so far I've saved nothing. I've made a complaint and I'm waiting for somebody to get back to me.
  11. If there's a solution to a problem, then IMHO Hattons should be providing it FOC to all purchasers
  12. Have you tried contacting the publishers - Peco?
  13. I think I have a Dapol 56 interior bits if any good - don't know if it's 'super detailed'
  14. I've never thought of repeating the layout on the underside of the board to ease the positioning of the switches / wiring - very novel (at least I'm assuming that's what you've done)
  15. How to you intend to achieve that please?
  16. That's what I was implying - probably didn't come across right
  17. I'll be mightily impressed if A/S (or KMS) can replicate that paint effect
  18. A simple search throws up these links - https://www.google.com/search?q=wiring+a+single+slip&oq=wiring+a+single+slip&aqs=chrome..69i57j0i22i30l2.5953j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
  19. My daughter had to have one for 5 years - my son 3 months. Both with the same insurance company. Worked for my daughter when she had a minor shunt into a car in front - driver claimed whiplash injury but BB showed car traveling at less than 5 MPH - other driver was threatened with legal action for fraud and she dropped her claim completely.
