  1. As 'young' Mr. Grace used to say - "You've all done very well"
  2. I read it that No Decorum was referring to himself, NOT Damo666
  3. I'd guess the pressure on the coupling from being pulled will prevent it being raised to uncouple. You would need to have little / no tension for them to work.
  4. Oh come on, surely a little something frilly for a special occasion https://www.cafepress.co.uk/+train+underwear
  5. Mine's just waiting for delivery - suitably disguised. Parcel size should be OK but weight might be an issue!
  6. At least it appears the issue surrounding choice of courier didn't put people off buying - there were 12 x Charles Dickens last night, now showing as all gone (I put my order in this morning)
  7. If you also bought 022 & 032 you could take a punt on a lottery ticket - you never know!
  8. The Class 92's are listed at full price - it's only a selection of wagons which are discounted
  9. I'd be disappointed they could only find 5 good things to say about it
  10. I agree - it's much better than the cheap efforts of other companies who just place a bit of clear plastic across where the models sit inside.
  11. Wondering if A/S will provide nameplates for 50021 which read 'Rooney' - with reference to the OF&H sketch where Del buys Rodney a bracelet with his name engraved on it
  12. Thanks - I have to admit I wasn't expecting any replies as this is so bizarre - but at least I now know I'm not going mad! I do have another Morley controller which doesn't have this problem. Will try and clean and reapply myself.
  13. I wasn't sure whether to post this on RMWEB or some alien-oriented website, but has anybody else experienced the rubber feet on a Morley controller moving as per the attached photo. You can see from the black marks where the feet have been moving. Really weird as the controller is not currently being used but is wired up.
  14. This is confusing me - what do you mean by "via a switch then back to one of these" (I assume you mean to a PDB). Any wire going through a switch to an isolated section of track should not be going anywhere else
  15. But doesn't security then become (more of?) an issue? For various reasons me & the other half have decided to go our separate ways after just over 30 years of 'togetherness'. So she's agreed to buy me out and I'm now in the property market. It might seem to be an advantage when looking on your own if you need space for a particular reason - but trying to find suitable existing space isn't all that easy.
  16. So that's approx 14" x 22" x 3" - might be a new roasting tin then
  17. Oh dear - that's another box I'll need to disguise. Note - I'm still waiting for the dimensions of the CS MK5 box please (the one with the 6 coaches in) as I requested on the relevant thread!
  18. Please - no naked flames anywhere near the stockrooms
  19. Don't know if this is a 'new' sale but 20% off at TMC - https://www.themodelcentre.com/sale
  20. Why don';t you treat yourself to a holiday somewhere that accepts USD, then there's no exchange rate charges
  21. This might appear at first to be a stupid question but what are the dimensions of the box please? Reason I'm asking is I usually buy 'management' something for Xmas in a box of a similar size so she doesn't catch on what I've ordered for myself.
