Your wife had to email you when only 12 feet away?

Im just trying to think, have they produced a banger blue silver roof scottish push pull 47/7 yet? Anyway im sure a new version whether blue or LL would go down well. Id like to see some twin or even triple coach packs too. I really dont see them doing the class 86 but that said i think Heljan still havent quite mastered the look of the high speed pantograph not conpared to the Bachmann 90 one. For a bit of innovation its about time coaching stock had dummy cabling inbetween them including flexible gangway connections but if we are already nudging 100 a coach this would surely add even more to it......accurascale take note as your 59 seems a relative bargain for a mk2 with lights.
-
as they are doing the prototype HST power car 252s could they maybe look at the Mk3 or do we think that market is already covered by Hornby and Oxford?
-
Oh....go on then, a Class 81 AC.
-
I predict no rerun of blue & grey mk2f coaches again.
-
Think the quarterly payment for traction is £12 but now gping to monthly at 4.99 with brm. Granted traction wasnt every month. Will the sub increased be automatic?
-
Maybe the Mk1 coach family with lighting. How about working dynamo drive belt ? Or dummy belt ? I feel Bachmann should have moved the game on with their main tooling a while ago......

Minor gripe (reward points and shipping costs)
ThaneofFife replied to Philip Jackson's topic in Hornby
Wonder how the Rewards Points scheme is doing for people and if Hornby rste it a success.......or has it gone the way of Design Clever. -
Thanks goes to MarksG for his info on Amazon sales Now it makes sense.

Didnt mean to rattle anybodys cage over my thoughts on the Beatles stuff but those quick to suggest they must sell kibd of mussed the question. We cannot say they sell as fact u less we get a spokesperson to shed light hence why I wondered if ssles are evidenced by a lsck of such products in the bargain bins. Seems half a dozen webbers have similar thoughts on this and we all know we dont hsve to buy said items but it would be interesting to know the score.

Well glad I was at work today as "nothing in it for me" . If I was into long MGR trains I would however be all over those nice looking Railroad MGR wagons at just £20 a pop. Bit of a bargain. Seems to be about the only thing thats fits the BR Blue era. No intercity/executive era stock or locos. Im also in the "why" camp over the Beatles stuff. Does anybody recall seeing such items gathering dust in model shops or are the public snapping these models up at a highly successful rate of knots cus Hornby keep churning them out...... My spending money is safe for now.

Can those purporting to "not being surprised" by this news do me a favour. Send me your predictions for the 6 lotto numbers in the next jackpot draw.

Another call here for some mk3a coaches in the older liveries or manc mersey lancs named Pullman stock silver window surrounds tinted glazing nems etc. Or intercity exec (not swallow) Id guess the bulled up white roof charter stock is even.more niche than the pullman stock! The mk1 white roof brake vehicle was AFAIK a BCK.

Obvious RTR models missing from peoples collections/wish lists
ThaneofFife replied to Blobrick's topic in Bachmann
Class 81 AC electric - not many liveries but neither was the 85. Was the 85 a good seller???? Class 303 EMU - many liveries and I think refurbed mid life. -
An update on where the catenary range is going or not going.
-
Flexible gangway ends on coaches. Rapido do this detail very well.
-
didnt get to warley this year. did they announce anything new on this front or any updates? just seems to have died a death yet weve got so many leccies available now for the british modeller..... ill wizz over to the Dapol section too see if theyve got any news on their catenary.
-
i dont expect anything whizz bang new that will shake the british modelling world up like their excellent HST and Class 56 and 60 etc did when those hi-fi models were first released 15 odd years ago...........seems others have taken the mantle now on that front as far as diesel and electric releases are concerned. Very wishful thinking here but a second stab at another Class in 87 in executive livery but with a uniform application of the red stripe 87 033 would be superb to make up for the cock up that we got on 87 009! Accurascale, Heljan and Bachmann can all manage to do it right, I mean what was Hornby thinking anyway? I sense a sly dig earlier at Pete Waterman not sure sure what thats all about but I like his endless enthusiasm for this hobby and think he is a great ambassador for this hobby IMHO.
-
that red stripe looks fine. hope they use the same method on the upcoming 'The Kingsman' unlike the terrible job Hornby made on 87 009. hope a decorated sample pops up at Warley......

That almost suggests we all just want locos and run a plank or depot scene and we dont want them to haul owt.
