  1. my fairly good feeling towards whats been announced is only that. ive still got nearly a grands worth of stuff to come and then pay for from 2022 including some Hornby orders so for me its costs of further spending even though i would love some of those mk3s in the executive livery but wish they were in mk3a form. i was going to poo poo the new TTA but didnt realise that Bachmanns tooling is not up to as high as standard as I thought so good for Hornby. "sprung buffers".........now ya talking Simon. yes they should offer 3 packs to customers. i missed the class 87 dcc sound decoders......again not my bag but good for those that have been waiting.......be good to see fitting of said decoder and speaker.......uh hum.
  2. those 125 executive liveried mk3s look so attractive - shame none in mk3a form just with Inter-City on them. would look great behind an 87 or 90. and do those ones shown have the silver window frames? they look like they do......very cool.
  3. 7am time tomorrow allows those of us that have to go work an hour or so to see whats what.its tgat or wait till you get home on the night if you do as I have before and forgot to check back at lunchtime......
  4. What about the BR Ford Halewood- Dagenham Parts Pallet 4 wheel vans? Not seen one in 00 gauge but Peco have had their N gauge one around for years.....
  5. Is the pan assembly available as a,spare? How much are they if anybody knows?
  6. I wonder if theyve already done a comprehensive tooling suite on their TT:120 Mk1 family of coaches ie; sleepers, mail stowage vans, mail sorting vans, as yet unseen buffet/kitchen cars, Corridor Firsts, motorails flats, GUVs, Brake second opens etc....if they have then id expect some more unless these feature in totally separate announcements for TT.
  7. That will be down to factors other than the lovely new 90 pushing. Back to backs track laying gaps etc.
  8. Hmm just checked the website the new 87s now expected Spring 2023. :(
  9. Have H ever done a Finsbury Park white stripe nicely bulled up 31/4? I would love to see them announce a brace of new tooled Mk3a cosches in IC Executive livery with the silver window frames. Think this combo of the new tooling with better coach ends roofing and glazing would be rather popular. And after the usual discount not bad vslue at around £35 a pop to build a good rake. From memory the last silver framed mk3 would have been a Lima HST version if you discount the latest IC Swallow version which I think is still aimed at HSTs not loco hauled 3a.Sleepers too....some of which were with white roofing. Is a Mini-Buffet version of a Mk2 just too small to do in terms of them not being that widespread? Think there were also calls a few years back for a BSO(T)...... On ml1s you could go IC Motorail or IC Charter (with white roof). Hopefully the new 87s will be hitting the docks in China next month.
  10. lets hope H get the correct face on 87 006. nothing but originals jumper equipment. my waters re sensing this could easily be cocked up.......especially if they are sending TT120 train sets out without a power clip for the track !
  11. is that worth an announcement then? that being the case they could just stick a catch all statement out now unless they think there is a fear of missing out on the cache of manufacturers making annual or quarterly announcements........
  12. on D&E I see them being reactive now rather than proactive. can you really see them launching say a new AC bo-bo electric of the standard set by Bachmann with their 90 or Heljan and their Class 86? I dont see the will tp ush the envelope like they used to.....the heyday of their detailed 31,56, 60 and HST see so long ago now.
  13. that dart didnt take long to throw !
  14. retooled mk3 sleepers using the latest slam door tooling starting with blue n grey and executive. another brace of new 87s. can they do something about the lighting circuitry while theyre at it unless the new 21 pin versions have already sorted that out ? Really with the 87 being one of Hornbys newest retools and with other entrants slowly picking away at the locos with from the ground up new models with bells whistles and next level fidelity I would like to see H looking to keep their 87 up to date. That pantograph needs attention too - take a look at the accurascale 92 or Bachmann 90 high speed pans for how it should be done. mass production of some decent Mk1 lattice catenary.
  15. well..... as you wish.....heres a few of my own.....with sprinkles! Class 81 AC Bo-Bo in 00 gauge Class 87 in N gauge Class 44 Peak in 00 Gauge White Roof Inter-City Charter Mk1s or Inter-City Motorail
  16. Regarding the dcc tail lamps on these when did BR start to pull the oil lamps and fit flashing lamps?
  17. Youve misunderstood me. I mean move onwards and upwards from the damage caused to this model.
  18. Are the falling out bogies now sorted by Bachmann? Havent clocked every page to know.....
  19. With 4 pick ups on one side i doubt a little lube is gunna cause conductivity issues.......hopefully you can now move on from this.
  20. The fast cov to bham x1 buses were rammed.glad i got off at sheldon. Standing all the way to bham must have been horrible. Thanks to the 3 chaps for sharing a,taxi on the wsy in when two x1 buses drove straight us at horse shoe inn! Plenty of bargain wagons on the stands minerals etc for around £11. Saw one stand trting to sell dcc fitted mk2f coaches not dbsos for dbso money £128. Might have been priced up wrong as thats more than rrp but i never asked.
  21. Asked one of the reps if there has been much call for a rerun of blue greys and they are aware but the cycle is approx 3 or 4 years from the original run. At leaat they are on their radar.
  22. Well it better not be more efforts like reward points gteen shield stamps or such novelties......with solid announcements this week from Heljan on the 50 and 86/2 Hornby better pull something out the bag something decent.
