  1. Asked one of the reps if there has been much call for a rerun of blue greys and they are aware but the cycle is approx 3 or 4 years from the original run. At leaat they are on their radar.
  2. Well it better not be more efforts like reward points gteen shield stamps or such novelties......with solid announcements this week from Heljan on the 50 and 86/2 Hornby better pull something out the bag something decent.
  3. yes its a bit tedious..... but it wont be........ any AC electric bo-bo's in TT Class 81 in 00 Rerun of IC Executive Mk3s with silver window frames using the newer slam door 3a tooling HST in early executive livery in 00 some decent looking catenary in 00 painted samples of the upcoming 87009 or 87006 to stare at.......
  4. well as most liveries have been picked off now one can only hope that it wont be much longer before we see another run of TSOs in blue and grey and also IC executive. if the gat exs are out then i can only think of the arriva livery and the anglian colours of the GEML. i dont believe the pullmans are Mk2f's unless Bachmann tool up for Ds or even Es........be good to see some of the above at the next round of releases.
  5. also this talk of smaller scale and smaller houses less space etc. thats never stopped the overwhelming explosion and continuing success of O gauge.
  6. to my eyes the HST power car seems to have a slight downward stance with the nose end lower than the rear end rather than it being level.......granted this is either a render or pre prod photo. not that im going to go down the titty route.
  7. plenty of these directors and CEOs do seems to like job hopping.......in my younger days if you had a CV that suggested you were moving around a lot you wasnt a good fit for the firm...........or is it to jump from one big pay increase to the next and sod the actually management of the firm and leave most of it to those on lower pay that have been there fore years but at least know what theyre doing and are loyal?
  8. So when Bachmann get round to more of these whats the guessing on what we will see from them? I suspect it could be the turn of the Anglia Rsilways blue livery given theyve done the DBSO which I thought was a little odd just releasing that on its own with no matchimg coaches. How about the old Cargo D blue and grey? BTW if anybody is after one I have a boxed 39-652 mk2f FO for sale in executive livery (not swallow and not dcc fitted) for £50 unused with the detail pack and can take it to Warley on the Saturday for collection.
  9. no thread drift from me. blimey i was merely responding to another member who suggested they were their personal priority over more 90s. was it really worth it? this forum does have a select few that have that perfect knack of acting like ruddy headmasters lording it over their pupils maybe cus they cant get a proper job in the real world. I and maybe others might pay up the £12 for full membership if it wasnt so flippin petty.
  10. Can anybody help with timelines. Looking to get the 90026 in mainline livery but not sure whst year it would have first appeared and whether it would be out of place with hornbys upcoming 87006 large logo, the executive livery 87009, heljans upcoming mainline livery "The Kingsman" and Bachmanns 85026 in BR blue?
  11. still no blue grey Mk2f's.....damnation. surely they should be a staple of the range.
  12. with inter city in the right place on the BSO on the one side too........
  13. the diesels look to be single powered bogied models. id like to know more about how close the couplings will be. i think buyers of the trains themselves might look to others for a finer track system if they are of the modeller/enthusiast ilk and not the train set customer.......looks very robust but utterly detracts from the great scale of the gauge that H are trying for.
  14. Nice photo of 87009 in the executive livery in the latest Hornby magazine with confirmation these are the first models to get the 21 pin interface. Pity no pic of large logo 87006 yet but at least there was no report of this version being cancelled. I believe this model needed some sample revisions whatever that entailed but both models will become my favourite 00 locos. Expected soon. RRP now £217.99
  15. 4hours 22 mins Euston to Lancaster? Not exactly giving it the beans......certainly not after Rugby.
  16. with a gap of only 40 mins from the time of your first posting - says a lot about demand. I wont hesitate to blow £xx on 4 x blue and grey TSOs if they do a rerun. we wont see them again for donkeys years.
  17. thats good to know. I dare I am not alone in wanting some London Midland M prefixed blue/greys. Incidentally if you are looking for some blue/grey "Inter-City" First Open's with DCC on Board then A E Oakes in the West Midlands have 2 in stock at £79.95 each.
  18. can you imagine working in the quality control dept at Hornby and being called in for a chat on some of these errors? its not like they are hard to sort at the sample stage so somebody somewhere is just not doing their jobs correctly. it really annoys me even moreso with climbing prices. Artwork on forthcoming 87006 has had to be revisited according to last Engine Shed report so things do get picked up but heres hoping they dont slip the net later down the line.
  19. When they get these returns that arent easy to correct what happens to em....in the bin or sold off cheap as factory seconds?
