    Given that it was quite common for 04s to operate with a runner wagon, you could try making a Conflat into one by keeping the tension lock on the 'loco' end and a Kadee on the 'shunting' end. steve

    Mehano are very much still in business. --> http://www.mehano.si/en I have 3 of their HO diesel locos, 2 Vossloh G2000s, both the symmetrical and the asymmetrical versions and a JT42CWR (CLass 66 in English). All of them are superb models, highly detailed and excellent runners. I haven't collected them but ran them on my last German layout and they will appear on my next one too. steve

    I wonder if Peco have ever considered making RTR trackwork with integral checkrails? Maybe it's me being lazy but it would make life a lot easier for doing infilled track such as crossings and industrial sites. steve
