  1. Model Junction Slough was always my first port of call for US items but that avenue is, sadly, now closed. What I'm looking for is a UK supplier of Kadee HO wheels, Code 88. Yes, I know I can get them from the US but that will take ages and I'll probably get stung for import duty. (I live in Yorkshire remember.) I've tried a few alleged US specialists' websites in the U.K. but either there was no mention, or they were so well hidden I couldn't find them listed. Can anyone advise please? Alternatively, if anybody has some they are willing to part with, maybe we can do a deal? Thanks! steve
  2. Anyone fancy a ground up restoration? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-52220174 steve
  3. Walked into my local convenience shop today and there it was on the shelf; two of them in fact. Actually bought a copy as something to read whilst on furlough. Might have bought other titles but shop only ever has RM. Managed to resist the classic car mags so far! steve
  4. Fair enough, but what did you think of the Countryman? steve
  5. Our back 'lawn' (expanse of grass) has become very popular with blackbirds and starlings of late. They seem to be finding food of some kind I assume. Today though, a pied wagtail decided to come as have look too, for a change. It was nice to see him. steve
  6. The, thankfully, restored station building at Thorganby. (As close as I could get without trespassing anyway) steve
  7. One for the Mini boys. Any idea what it is? steve
  8. I used to watch him at Wimbledon Spedeworth events in a Mk 1 Escort in Custom Car mag colours. Didn't he move into tintops 'proper' eventually? steve
  9. If you follow that link in Bernard’s post about the Mk III there is amazing treasury of Ford and Crayford images from the 1960s & 1970s in there. steve
  10. Starting on the sheds. The sides will be clad in Evergreen siding and have textured plastic roofs. steve
  11. If I had one, I would give it a go... steve
  12. Very impressive modelling. I've modelled DB in HO and can appreciate what you have achieved. One question, could you have substituted plasticard for card in the construction? Second one, there is a fair amount of US stuff available in S, could any of it have been suitably modified? I assume no German S RTR? Thanks steve
  13. Time to look forward to 2021! steve
  14. Can't lay straight track though. Look at that one 3 from the right. Shocking. steve

Colin, as you know I already do! steve
  16. I can vouch for The Coopers having drunk in there frequently when attending DEMU Showcase, as can several others! steve
  17. I buy paper mags when one takes my fancy and there is enough content to justify it. Given I’m stuck at home without access to a lending library (paper shop) or my local group where the mags usually appear, I’m sort of considering a digital sub to Model Rail just to keep up. steve
