  1. Binge watching isn't for me. Couldn't take sitting in front of the box for anything longer than a sporting fixture (F1, footy, etc) or a decent film. Endless episodes of a any programme, even one I like, would do me in. steve
  2. Receptionist: “The doctor can see you now.” Invisible Man: “Finally - I’m cured!” steve

  6. Would a suitably sized boxfile count? Thanks steve
  7. I was disappointed to find that the match wagon isn't fitted with an NEM coupler pocket as I use Kadees on some of my UK stock. Has anyone fitted Kadees to a 48DS and, if so, how did you do it? Surprised to see no suitable video on YouTube, given everything else is on there... Thanks steve
  8. White convertible middle picture - Fiat orAlfa? My initial thought is Fiat 1200. steve
  9. That image reminds me of my aircraft spotting days in 1960s. Spent hours at London Airport, as Heathrow was known then. I lived in Slough and then Langley and it was a trip on the no 81 LT bus, a red RT, away or, when I had a decent bike, a cycle ride. Sitting in the Queen’s Building with my sandwiches, a telescope and an air band radio was a great way of passing the time at weekends. steve
  10. As someone who has watched numerous episodes of Fireman Sam (Grandkids!), it regularly features a standard gauge ‘tourist’ line despite being in Wales(!). The more I look at it, the more it looks modelable, A Peckett, 4 wheel coach. couple of wagons, the rail mounted fire engine would be a challenge too. I must be getting stir crazy... steve
  11. I tried that but the hassle involved was such a pain I ordered one by post. YMMV of course. steve

  13. I’m getting an advert for a Messianic Bible on here. Could this be the provisional wing of the Scalefour Society attempting an infiltration? steve
  14. Tony, Yes I could but I prefer hard copy as I find digital mags difficult to read on an iPhone. I think I will get a postal copy. steve
  15. If I could get a copy locally without breaking the rules, then I would but one. Sadly the village shop only carries RM. Which I have already read cover to cover! steve
  16. This too depressingly accurate to be actually funny. steve
