I am advised that KR Models will be fitting the LokPilot decoder to this model. I am trying to Ddecide whether to go with this or whether to get DCC ready and fit something else. Has anyone any thoughts on this?

Good comment. KR Models would have been very popular if they produced these models thirty years ago when many would be have been happy with a model that bore a passing resemblance to the prototype. Modellers' expectations have increased since then.

I contacted them recently requesting a spare staunchion that was missing from one of my Palbrick wagons. Keith replied quickly and sent me, not just a stancion but a replacement wagon without hesitation. Perfect customer service.
