  1. More likely due to lack of expressions of interest.
  2. Later serialised in two local newspapers. “Which papers?” I hear you ask. It was the Bicester Times, it was the Worcester Times.
  3. The string "()()" is not a palindrome but "())(" is.
  4. Well it's less than six months away. 😁
  5. ..or tail light 😁
  6. LOL KR doesn't want to waste words by writing long replies. 😁
  7. Not just in model railways. How many companies make similar televisions, or smart phones, or clothes pegs etc.
  8. If the seller can find the time to change the estimated delivery date ( I didn't know one could do that), then he can find the time to to message you. My advice is move to the 'item not received" process immediately. It will result in you either getting the item or getting a refund.
  9. I admit I am going to buy this. I would have liked full working valve gear and feel misled with the publicity and claims. However, if KR Models had been honest and declared at the start that it was impractical for them to produce fully working valve gear and would be producing a simplified version, I would have bought one. That being the case, I am still going to buy one. However, once all my pre funded orders are in, anything else I fancy from KR Models will wait until they are available and reviews made. If that means I have to wait for a second rum run, so be it.
  10. It's a take on one of Sam's Train's merchandise.
  11. These posts are all very interesting but here is the post from the class 92 thread telling us about the chip and crew. £29.50 and £9.95 including 20% UK VAT does not translate into €29.95 and €9.95 excluding VAT even allowing for the exchange rate.
  12. Perhaps someone here can clarify for me. I logged on to www.accurascale.com from Ireland. The price quoted for the two items I ordered were; Class 92 crew €9.95 Class 92 chip €29.95 Total paid to Accurascale €45.85 I presume the difference is postage. It is not clear from the web site whether the above prices include UK VAT, Irish VAT or no VAT. In any event, I had to pay a further €16.83 to DHL bringing the total to €62.68.
  13. In the 1980s I was visiting in the control tower for that airport and among all the high tech Air Traffic Control equipment was a railway block instrument. Part of the interlocking with NIR to prevent a train and an aircraft being on the runway at the same time.
  14. My guess is you would get a one word reply. Either "Yes" or "No" 😀
  15. Probably because KR Models business methods frustrate "every darned" product. This is the thread I think you are referring to:
  16. This also shows the importance of full safety checks before starting out.
  17. Careful there Fran, or you will begin to sound like KR Models lol 😁 Seriously though, I am looking forward to seeing those snaps.
  18. A nice clear video like this one from KR Models would have saved several pages of detective work on this thread. Can we have such a video of Bellerophon Keith and Michael Revell?
  19. "Th' whole worl's in a terrible state o' chassis" – Captain Boyle, Act III, Juno and the paycock. ....and there was me thinking it was peacock
