  1. I can confirm ‘freshers flue’ definitely exists, that’ll be a pallet of cleenex man-size tissues and as much night nurse and vix as I can find then!

I hate the program but I can see it would be pretty boring if the candidates were all quietly competent and modestly self effacing, rather than being loud mouth a'hole that the average employer would touch with a shi'ty stick

My heart goes out to Alan Sugar. The poor b#####d advertises for an exclusive job in his company, and all that show up for the interview are a bunch of t###s.

  4. I see that bloke of River Cottages efforts to reduce packaging waste has been a success, judging by the comically oversized box and large amount of packing crap my lens has arrived in..

  5. First set of really interesting Hornby releases in a while, although not sure why the IEP model is limited to 250? That said, tempting!

I wonder how long it will be before this one gets released in other colour schemes.

How much they charge for other colour schemes remains to be seen.

GW is limited edition too according to the Hornby Website

I'd rather not bother but we get a longer Holiday when your back!

We did double Sex ed which was interesting, a lesson on drugs with a legendary copper who made it funny and then something on relationships which was inproved by me and Brian aiming paper airplanes at each other! Great

Modern enough! By modern I mean the newer ones... the later ACs! So 86/87. Then the 90 and 92 came.

86101 was the test bed 87, 87101 was the test bed 90.

  13. 66414 ia no longer that nice shade of blue and is now a powerful 66! Must say i'm dissapointed, I did really like that livery!

It would of made more sense to do to 414 what they did on Ex-aggregate shed 66623. just put some big yellow stickers down the side!

    4. DRS Crewe On A Mission

      DRS Crewe On A Mission

If I'm honest the new DRS 66 livery is growing on me and I will definitely be buying a couple when Bachmann release 434. Not sure why 414 has run around for that long in the plan blue in use with Freightliner anyway they have had it nearly four years! They still have 413, 415, 418, 419 and 420 still left to repaint yet as well! Why not just send one at a time to Eastleigh Arlington for repainting I don't know. Unless Freightliner just wanted to save money and get a while longe...

  14. Starting to think Hornby have bought shares in about 5 different respray companies, considering there STILL isn't a DB Schenker red 60!

      DRS Crewe On A Mission

I know quite disappointing really. Would be nice for a plain red 60. I'm also gutted their isn't a Colas 60 considering 60087 has been in traffic for months now and this was the first one to be repainted.

350232 To be exact... The reason for its naming was it had spent several months in Wolverton works because a women set herself on fire in the toilet and was found melted to the floor when the set came to a halt...

Not nice, annoyingly for LM it was in the middle of a 12 car formation so some interesting shunting had to take place on that one
